Improved form on reappearance over a mile here last time when fourth, mark unchanged, goes up in trip and merits serious consideration under the champion jockey.

Went close here on penultimate start (outclassed since), goes up in distance now and cheekpieces are added. Can't rule out in this grade.

Lilbourne Lad filly yet to make the frame in six five starts, takes a sharp rise in trip here and remains very hard to fancy on form.

Not without promise in trio of maidens last year, including here at up to 1m. Improvement possible now sent handicapping for the first time.

Makes handicap debut. Poor at Naas on turf recently, but some promise has been shown previously in two AW spins and capable of raising game now perhaps.

Well fended off in three turf maidens towards the end of last summer, first time racing beyond a mile here, makes handicap debut and AW bow and will have to improve significantly.

Form has been declining, well beaten in 7f claimer here last month and again easily swatted aside on turf at Cork 11 days ago. Up in trip.

No threat in maidens here, goes beyond a mile for the first time and gets new headgear in bid to improve his lot on handicap debut. Improvement will be required.

Showed very little in maidens last year, against well held on handicap bow at Gowran Park (7f, heavy) in October when last spotted. Up in trip for this first AW start, one to note in betting.

Forecasts

Ragtime Red (11/10), Raven's Hat (5/1), Chaparral Dream (13/2), Nancy D'Alton (10/1), Rockfish (12/1), Lucky Red (14/1), Cache Queen (20/1), Charmed Pearl (25/1), Matter Of Time (33/1), Spirit Of Dreams (50/1)

Verdict

Not a contest to whet the appetite. LUCKY RED is forgiven his run last time and would hold sound enough claims on his previous effort when second over a mile here. Like many in this line-up, he'll have to prove his stamina can hold over this extra yardage. Ragtime Red showed improved form at this track on his reappearance and should go well under Colin Keane while Raven's Hat and Chaparral Dream rate as potential improvers.
  1. Lucky Red
  2. Ragtime Red
  3. Raven's Hat
