Definite signs of promise on her first two starts and although she was well beaten at Southwell latest, she may not have appreciated the surface or may have needed the run. Market will give best clue as to her chance.
C&D winner here last November, so no issues on those scores, and her close fourth on debut for her new yard (at 66/1) signified a return to form on her latest start. Good jockey booking and may have more to offer. One to note.
Came good when scoring by a neck at Newcastle last time but was all out to hold on in the end, and has an extra furlong to cover here. However, lightly raced and well drawn, so should have more to offer. Has to be considered.
Has the ability to win a race but is proving a bit frustrating, and she did no better for the application of cheekpieces last time. No issues with track or trip but clearly comes with risks already and not one for maximum faith.
In good hands and has only had the four starts, so there's the possibility of improvement to come but in truth she'll need it as she's not shown enough so far. First time visor given a try but others have more pressing claims.
Already looking moderate after just seven starts and the way he plugged on at one pace over a mile last time does not suggest this drop back in trip will be a help. Others preferred.
Almost won a three-runner claimer here last August but that's very much the highlight of his career to date, and was regressing towards the end of last season. May need this after an absence anyway and not hard to look elsewhere.
Did look ready for a step up in trip at times last year so worth a try at 7f, but in truth she didn't really show enough to think she can win this at this stage of her career. May do better, but likely to need a run to get her fitter anyway.
Showed a little promise last year but recent evidence suggests she's going backwards already. She did no better for the application of cheekpieces last time and needs plenty more here.
Has done a little better on her last two starts and looked ready for a step up in trip after her staying-on fifth behind Ghost at Newcastle last time. Room to improve and not ruled out but needs to cheat a poor draw here.
Tailed off on all three starts last year and needs to have improved tremendously over the winter if she's to take a hand here.
Forecasts
Foxy Lady (5/2), Global Wonder (5/1), Ghost (11/2), Christmas Night (8/1), Lope De Loop (8/1), Team Showme (10/1), Zapateado (11/1), Madame Jo Jo (18/1), Patty Patch (25/1), Comselle (25/1), Gainsay (33/1)
TEAM SHOWME has a moderate draw to overcome but gives the impression there's much more to come from her and this step up in trip may well help her cause. She can reverse earlier form with Ghost to take this. Zapateado ran much better than his big odds indicated he would at Kempton last time and if building on that, could be the biggest danger. Money for Lope De Loop or Patty Patch would need taking seriously.
- Team Showme
- Zapateado
- Ghost
