Remains in good form and ran on well for pressure to win again at Chelmsford last week. Trip and surface fine, penalty and poor draw here make life harder but she's nothing if not game and will give it her best shot.

Flew the gates to make all the running at Chelmsford last week, and had the race won a long way out. Overall win record and a wider draw are both negatives here, but will at least ensure a strong pace to aim at. Not ruled out, but others preferred.

Another that likes to lead, and almost made those tactics pay at Chelmsford last week, worn down late by La Fortuna. Again, this draw doesn't help his front-running tactics and he may find himself taken on by others for the role too.

No great overall strike rate over the years but pops up from time to time. Better latest when a staying on third (over 6f) here, drop back in trip not ideal but likely strong pace may help. Expect to see him coming late on the scene.

On a very good mark these days and on the plus side, last win came over this C&D (back in Jan 2017) but he simply appears on the downgrade and shows no signs that he's about to strike.

Had looked to be going nowhere quickly but stopped the rot with a much better effort at Newcastle last time, finishing third. This is arguably easier, so if he can repeat that effort then he's got place chances at the very least.

Not going anywhere quickly at present and has a ton of ground to make up with Mighty Zip on their running at Chelmsford last week. Poorly drawn and not hard to look elsewhere.

Put in a reasonable effort over this C&D last September but two starts since then have been well below that form. Hopes are pinned on a return to this C&D to relight the fire, but others are preferred.

No win in 14 starts to date and if recent evidence is anything to go by, he won't be making it 15th time lucky here. Well beaten lately and needs massive improvement.

Yet to get anywhere near winning one in 13 starts and hopes are pinned on a new combination of headgear today. Hard to make much of a case for all the same.

Forecasts

Mighty Zip (4/1), La Fortuna (9/2), Culloden (9/2), See Vermont (5/1), Monsieur Mel (11/2), Gorgeous (7/1), Stopdworldnletmeof (14/1), Dreams Of Glory (14/1), Camino (16/1), Digital Revolution (16/1), Tink (66/1)

Verdict

There should be plenty of pace on here with the likes of the speedy Mighty Zip and Culloden blazing away on the front end, and that's going to help the likes of GORGEOUS, See Vermont and the game La Fortuna late on. With a better draw the last named might have been the selection but Gorgeous might get first crack at the leaders and that could be decisive. Monsieur Mel would be the other to throw into the mix if that last run is to be believed.
  1. Gorgeous
  2. La Fortuna
  3. See Vermont
