Age: 10|  Weight: 10-0| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  76| D
Winner of two point-to-points in 2016 and recorded his best rules effort so far when finishing 11L third over 3m1f at Wincanton (soft) last time out. Interesting if building on that.

Forecasts

The Kings Writ (13/8), Kavanaghs Corner (9/4), Withoutdefavourite (5/1), Colmers Hill (8/1), Dancing Conquest (8/1), Pistol Shoot (25/1), Podili Road (25/1)

Verdict

THE KINGS WRIT has run well on both starts since returning from a spell point-to-pointing and he can make it third time lucky by defying top weight in this handicap chase. The selection has proven stamina and should appreciate the forecast testing conditions. Colmers Hill ran well at Fontwell in December and he can put a couple of disappointing efforts behind him by finishing second while Kavanaghs Corner, runner-up over shorter last time can finish third stepping up in distance..
  1. The Kings Writ
  2. Colmers Hill
  3. Kavanaghs Corner
