Half-brother to a couple of useful sprinters in Gowanharry and Gownaless; out of a grand mare Aahgowangowan. Solid so far, winning on his second start (6f) here in November, beating Cocktail by 1¾L. Drop in trip not an obvious concern.
Beat none other than US Navy Flag on debut at the Curragh in May 2017 (for Ger Lyons) and highly tried thereafter before being sold for €25,000 in November. Done okay on synthetics (6f), but not hard to see why cheek-pieces are applied.
Kodiac colt who cost 105,000 gns as a yearling, and showed plenty of promise on debut at Nottingham in October (5f good to soft), by finishing a head second to Kodiac Express. Definite short-list material.
Showed glimmers of ability in a couple of low-key events at Southwell and Wolverhampton earlier this month (5f), but this race rates as much tougher, so not expected to figure prominently at the finish.
Concluded his juvenile campaign a little below par at York in October, but plenty of encouragement to take from his three previous placed efforts (2,2,3). Has a degree of ability and rates as a likely pace angle on AW/seasonal debut.
Now a ten race maiden, and has frustratingly finished runner up in 70% of his career starts. Another runner who rates as a likely pace angle, but recent wind surgery hasn't quite led to that breakthrough success just yet.
Unraced third foal by Mayson out of Symphonic Dancer. Half-sister to 1m4f winner Lady Valdean. Shouldn't prove sharp enough on racecourse debut.

Archie Watson has a strong hand at Newcastle as he battles it out with Mick Appleby for the 2017/18 All Weather Championships trainers title. His filly Black Sails has the ability to take this contest, but it's fair to say she's a fraction quirky and that's likely why the first time cheek-pieces are applied. Both Harrogate and Gowanbuster mightn't have her class, but are straightforward performers with the latter almost certain to handle dropping back to 5f, given his hardy sprint relations. However, the horse with potentially more improvement in the locker is COWBOY SOLDIER. He showed bundles of promise on debut at Nottingham in October and is fancied to strike.
