Unlucky not to get off the mark on his second run (bumped into well-bred newcomer) before switching to AW after a break scoring over 5f (started favourite). Ran with credit (also on AW) on only subsequent run; returns giving weight away to all.
Makes his turf debut after a couple of AW runs either side of Xmas starting towards the head of the market on both occasions. This will be the shortest trip he's tried after making his debut over 7f (ran over 6f last time); looks to need further.
Showed his best form when raced in France (for the same yard) on his first two starts but has spoilt his ensuing starts by racing too freely. Below form when last seen he needs to settle far better to be of interest returning from a long break.
From a yard that have made a sound start to the Flat turf season she showed something to work on in her only start so far (6f, good). Has to overcome a significant absence though but there is some improvement likely from her debut.
Just the two starts to her name so far both on the AW she showed some promise on her debut (6f) before looking as though she was still learning next time over 7f. Pulled very hard when last seen and now back in trip making her turf debut.
Just the one run to her name so far and it proved to be very modest form (looked very inexperienced) and finished last of nine over 6f on the AW. Would need to show far more here to make an impact back at 5f.
Has some useful relations on her dam's side (5f winner) but only finished in midfield in 5f maiden early last year on good going. Knew her job on that occasion but would need to improve to take a hand here back from a break.
Had one run for Richard Fahey last year (sold for 12,000 guineas) but now makes her debut for a new yard. Well backed on her debut she offered something to work on (not knocked about) but now steps back in trip slightly; capable of better.
The only newcomer in the field she's a half-sister to numerous winners including a couple of useful sprinters. Dam was also a 5f juvenile winner; may lack the experience for this but worth watching in the market.

General Jack (9/4), Dan's Dream (11/4), Little Boy Blue (3/1), White Feather (6/1), Roman River (12/1), Javelin (14/1), Grandma Tilly (25/1), Ellen Gates (25/1), Gower Gold (40/1), Ticktocks (50/1)
Not an easy event to sum up and it makes only limited appeal as a betting event with most of the field returning from absences. Little Boy Blue has probably shown the best form but he does have to give weight away to the entire field and General Jack who drops in trip looks as though this could be too sharp for him. White Feather will have to settle better in his races before he’s of interest with Javelin one of the more interesting sorts having shown promise in her only start so far. The Mick Channon team have made a good start to the year and a chance is taken with DAN’S DREAM who may be able to build on her debut run last year.

- Little Boy Blue
