Appeared to handle the surface on his one previous run here without going overboard about the effort. Made little impact on his last run but has won twice on the AW this winter and still looks reasonably treated.
Has shown very little for her current yard with his mark plummeting accordingly but a recent run might have brought him on. Does have a C&D win to his name off a mark off 62 (now 54); market watch advised given connections.
His runs so far don't really scream improver and it appears that hopes of any progress are pinned on this move up to a mile. Dropped 3lb since his last run here and more needed to take a hand.
His form over C&D reads 343 and he has previously won over a mile and reunited with the champion jockey last time out he was ran better than his final position suggests. Might have not much room for manoeuvre off this mark though.
Low mileage and could well be suited to a return to this C&D which was the scene of her only win so far off a mark of 46. Despite being open to more progress she was easy to back on her only subsequent run but that was on Tapeta.
A dual C&D winner with those wins coming off much higher marks and he's regressed since then hampering his last two runs here with slow starts. Off a lowly mark such as this though would be a danger to all if exiting on terms.
Form in three AW outing is modest at best and she now makes her Fibresand/handicap debut. It may well be that handicapping will show her in a better light although her sire has a poor record here.
If he doesn't know what is required around here then it's doubtful if anyone will but he looks to have lost his way of late. Often slow away and looks laboured early on before running on late and may plug on for minor honours.
In six starts for Nigel Tinkler she managed to beat one horse home offering very little when last seen and now starts life for a new stable. Tongue-tie on for the first time but impossible to recommend.
Unusual to see one this lowly rated from a yard like this and on the evidence he's shown so far he looks very limited. Beat only one home in a Lingfield handicap last time and hopes now pinned on a first-time visor plus a drop in grade/trip.
Forecasts
Cockney Boy (11/4), St Patrick's Day (9/2), Port Soif (5/1), Kaylen's Mischief (5/1), Ravenhoe (7/1), Star Of The Stage (11/1), General Tufto (12/1), Voice Of Dubai (16/1), Island Song (33/1), Sai Kung Star (100/1)
A low-key end to the card with the second division of the 0-55 mile handicap and it has very much a similar composition to the first division. PORT SOIF won nicely here on her debut and a return here looks sure to see her return to form while both St Patrick’s Day and Star Of The Stage have slipped to marks way below their last winning ones; both should be watched in the market. Cockney Boy has the assistance of Silvestre De Sousa and must be respected despite the mark looking a little high now with Ravenhoe also one to throw into the mix given the ease in grade.
