2015 winner and a good eighth last year off 4lb higher, and not disgraced in subsequent races (most of which were a higher standard). Drawn down the middle not ideal but goes well here.
Listed winner last August, and though his form wasn't quite at that level for the rest of the season if he can return to his best after a break he'd be a danger to all.
Ran well in a series of 1m handicaps (and slightly further) last campaign, and though he's 14lb higher than his last winning mark he still needs respecting given he usually runs his race.
Outclassed in a Listed race at Leopardstown in October but did win a maiden on heavy ground prior to that. This is obviously tougher but it's a more suitable level of competition.
Just the four runs so far in his career and was restricted to one last campaign (when beaten 20L and probably amiss). Claims on his best form if ready to go here.
Just one win in an AW race since taking the 2015 Cambridgeshire, but he signed off last season with a fine effort at Wolverhampton and is interesting off the same mark.
Has been kept busy at Dundalk over the winter, and though he's been running well an 8lb higher mark than when last seen on turf asks some questions of him.
Completed a hat-trick at Tipperary in October of weaker handicaps than this, but is entitled to have a go at this level. Kept fit with some uneventful recent runs over hurdles.
Winner of a valuable handicap last year at the Curragh off 1lb higher, but not so good in two runs since and heavy ground would be a question for him.
0/12 for his previous yard before joining this trainer, and hasn't won on turf since September 2014. Best watched despite the class he showed in his younger days.
Useful handicapper but 3lb above his highest ever winning mark and has never won on ground worse than good to soft; others appeal more.
Has just had four starts so far, and despite early promise she has a bit to prove after just two starts last season. Hood on now.
Not always the most consistent but won her most recent start in a handicap off just 2lb lower and she clearly handles the ground.
Not disgraced on stable debut behind Beach Bar last time (at Dundalk) and has finished second in this the last three years. May run well again.
Has improved since switching to this yard last season, and is now back in trip having run very well over 1m2f on his final start (at this course). Just 2lb higher and should run very well.
Lost his way a little bit for Roger Charlton after a promising start, and will need to have improved for the change of surroundings to this yard to get involved here.
Just 1/18 so far (including three runs in hurdles), and that came in a much weaker handicap over 1m2f. Others make much more appeal.
Form just levelled off last year having spent a long time gradually progressing, and didn't show anything special over hurdles during the winter. Probably needs a bit further than this on the Flat, too.
Has done most of his racing over hurdles and is yet to win a Flat turf race. Likely set for a minor role in this.
Generally seen to better effect over further than this these days and now has it all to do from 7lb out of the handicap.

As usual this is a very tricky handicap to solve, not only because of the number of runners but also because many of these are having their first runs since the end of last year. Aussie Valentine has been second in this the past three years and there's nothing to suggest he won't run very well again, while Pincheck is also of interest after running well in a few very good handicaps last term. Preference, though, is for THIRD TIME LUCKY. He hasn't actually won a race on turf since the 2015 Cambridgeshire, but he looked in good form towards the end of last season, his trainer should have him ready to go and he's well-treated if somewhere near his best.
