Inconsistent performer and one has to go all the way back to 2015 to find his last win. Probably better over shorter than this and opposable here.
Still a maiden after six starts but starting to get more competitve on last couple of starts. Starts out for a new yard and interesting to see how he fares in first-time cheekpieces. Market check advised.
Winner over C&D at this race last year but form tailed off somewhat. Showed very little over hurdles last time and opposable while still above his highest winning mark.
Yet to place in five starts but some signs of ability at Windsor last time. Can be slowly away and possibly best watched on debut for new yard unless there's market support. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
Only had three starts to date but may do better now tackling handicaps. Cant be dismissed with leading amateur on board.
Useful over hurdles but not won on the Flat since 2014. Handicap mark looks appealing though and he acts in soft ground. Each-way claims.
His stable are going well and he was a runner up at Chelmsford in January (2m), beaten 1L. On a reasonable mark but hasn't won now for over two years and yet to win in 21 turf starts. Positive jockey booking at least.
Won twice over this trip in the spring of last year but largely struggled throughout the remainder of the season and very few signs of encouragement on two recent AW outings. Opposable.
Unlucky when disqualified at Chelmsford three starts back but has been in poor form in two subsequent races and hasn't won on turf for some time. Well above that last winning turf mark too and others hold stronger claims.
Badly out of form in both codes and unplaced in 17 starts. Showed nothing at Carlisle last time out and hard to fancy from out of the handicap. Wears first-time blinkers.
Still a maiden and while he hinted at ability for his former yard, he's been disappointing since his switch to this stable. Likely to struggle from out of the handicap.

Spiritoftomintoul (7/2), Clemento (4/1), Cape Hideaway (6/1), Pullman Brown (6/1), Leonidas (15/2), Royal Flag (8/1), Sunrize (10/1), Crindle Carr (14/1), Albert Boy (16/1), Ted's Brother (25/1), Rita's Man (25/1), My Valentino (40/1)
SUNRIZE is an interesting handicap debutante for David O'Meara and it may be significant Simon Walker takes the ride. Cape Hideaway is on a fair mark and can run well while similar can be said for Spiritoftomintoul who gets another leading amateur in the saddle.
- Sunrize
- Cape Hideaway
- Spiritoftomintoul
