Plenty of placed form to call upon but oh-so-hard to win with, yet to win in 12 starts here and has been nudged up another couple of pounds for a close second at Chelmsford last time. One for placepotters but avoided for win purposes.
Irish raider trying his luck here and on the plus side, best recent effort came at this trip at Dundalk in February. On a fair mark here and good jockey booking, so a decent run could be in order.
Went very close to breaking her duck when just touched off in a C&D handicap here in February but that was a basement grade contest, and she's since disappointed at Kempton. Hopes pinned on a return to Wolverhampton but others preferred.
Popped up at 25/1 at Ayr last October (heavy ground) so always capable of the shock, and was far from disgraced when third at Chelmsford latest. New headgear given a try and if it works the oracle, has frame chances at worst.
Only having fourth run for the yard, so they might yet find a bit more improvement out of her, and she stuck to the task well enough at Chelmsford last time to think she could be on the way back. Cheekpieces now added and she's a chance.
No win in 12 starts and handicap mark already falling quickly after some moderate efforts, although latest midfield finish at Chelmsford a step back in the right direction, at least. Needs plenty more here though.
Well into the veteran stage now and although this C&D holds no fears for him, his form recently suggests the pipe and slippers can't be far away for him. Well beaten most starts and others readily preferred here.
No win in 17 starts and only a couple of places to show for his efforts as well. Looks very moderate on evidence to date and hard to see why the improvement necessary to win here should be forthcoming.
Has yet to get anywhere near winning a race after 11 starts, but new headgear tried last time (retained here) did at least produce a better effort. Needs to build on that to hold any chance here though, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Forecasts
Satchville Flyer (9/4), Society Ranger (7/2), Golden Eye (6/1), Joys Delight (7/1), Ok By Me (7/1), The King's Steed (8/1), Tess Graham (14/1), Lesanti (20/1), Pipers Piping (25/1)
These are a pretty moderate bunch and it's worth giving Irish raider SOCIETY RANGER a try. His form at the track reads 114, much better than anything here can muster, so take the hint that he's travelling over for such a lowly event. Satchville Flyer hits the frame with regularity but simply doesn't put his head in front enough, so it's not hard to think he'll be on the premises again. Ok By Me may have more to offer and can get involved for the places.
