Comes from a good jumping family and changed hands for €55,000 as a 2yo. Stable does have the occasional winner in this sphere, so positive market move would be interesting.
Dam an unraced sister to useful hurdler/top-class chaser Albertas Run. Stable 1-8 in bumpers over the last five years. Others more persuasive.
Fails to catch the eye on paper and yard not renowned for success in this sphere (0-25 over the past five years.) Readily opposed first time out.
Cost £46,000 as a three-year-old and closely related to a bumper scorer. Looks the stable first string and very much one to consider first time out.
By a good dual-purpose stallion in Norse Dancer and shaped encouragingly on his debut over C&D (soft) last month when a 7L second behind Sevarano. Should build on that and no surprise to see him go one better.
Opening effort in a decent Newbury bumper wasn't devoid of promise but couldn't back that up when well down the field at Huntingdon next time. Questions to answer.
Only just came up short in a steadily-run bumper at Ascot (2m, good) when trained by Mark Pitman in November and that form has worked out well. Interesting to see how goes on softer ground for a new yard.
Comes from a decent jumping family and changed hands for €46,000 as a three-year-old. Doesn't look the stable's best hope judged on jockey bookings.
Yeats gelding who cost €22,000 and is a half-brother to a bumper winner. Yard has drawn a blank in bumpers this season but positive market vibes would be interesting.
From a strong jumping family and cost €65,000 as a three-year-old. Yard no stranger to success in this race and not hard to envisage a big run first time out.
From a good family and, having cost €52,000 as a three-year-old, he scored in emphatic fashion in a Larkhill point-to-point in January. Much softer ground with to contend with now but very much respected.
Doesn't catch the eye on paper and changed hands relatively cheaply. Yard's strike-rate in bumpers is modest and others look more likely.
Forecasts
Mister Fisher (5/4), Soldier Of Love (7/2), Rhythm Is A Dancer (9/2), Sebastopol (9/2), Oakley (10/1), Cilaos Glace (10/1), Ebony Gale (14/1), Manvers House (25/1), Gaelic Poet (25/1), Savanna Roar (33/1), Starjac (50/1), Lucky Accord (66/1)
Probably a decent bumper with Mister Fisher looking the most interesting of the newcomer contingent. Emphatic point-to-point winner Sebastopool and Ascot runner-up Soldier of Love have already demonstrated their potential but both have softer ground to contend with here, so RHYTHM IS A DANCER gets the vote. Paul Nicholls' gelding comfortably beat everything bar Sevarano in a decent-looking bumper on soft ground here last month and, with natural improvement, should prove a tough nut to crack.
- Rhythm Is A Dancer
- Soldier Of Love
- Sebastopol
