Some okay form when trained in Ireland but not at that level since moving to this country so needs a big step forward here.

Probably at his best on turf rather than on the AW, and even his two wins in this sphere both came at other courses. More needed than recent C&D last.

Only career win came in claiming company and hasn't shown enough since returning at the beginning of this year to entice too much enthusiasm about his chances.

Has run very well on all four starts so far for a yard who continue to be in good form. Just 1lb higher than when a good third at Wolverhampton last time and holds major claims on that form.

Course winner and Prix de l'Abbaye runner-up at his best but is 13 now and likely to find more than a couple of these two much to handle on first start since September.

Creeping down the handicap and has been running well on the Polytrack at Lingfield on his last two starts. Apprentice rider is good value for her claim so he should be able to go well.

Finished second over 5f here last time out and both career wins have come over C&D so needs considering, even if his overall strike-rate isn't the most appealing.

Third at Kempton two starts back was a step in the right direction but hasn't won since November 2016 and yet to place in four starts here.

Age: 6|  Weight: 8-7| J: Hollie Doyle| T: J E Long| OR:  45| CD
20/1
C&D winner who is often seen at her best over 6f on Polytrack but others make far more appeal after the way she finished off last year.

Forecasts

Krazy Paving (5/4), Firesnake (9/2), Malaysian Boleh (5/1), Alfonso Manana (8/1), Grecian Divine (16/1), Deeds Not Words (16/1), Secret Asset (16/1), Divine Call (16/1), Multi Quest (20/1)

Verdict

Unlike the first division of this race this isn't a particularly open affair and KRAZY PAVING is the obvious answer. In good form for a yard that are generally doing well (and have been for most of the season) he is just 1lb higher than when running very well at Wolverhampton last time and with this surface holding no fears for him could well be set to win again after scoring at Lingfield in January. The potentially well-handicapped Malaysian Boleh and recent course second Firesnake could also go well.
  1. Krazy Paving
  2. Malaysian Boleh
  3. Firesnake
