Bumper winner at Stratford last year, hasn't shown a lot over hurdles but this is his first handicap and offers a more realistic chance of success. Needs more, however, and likely soft ground possibly not ideal either.
Looked to have a future ahead of him when hosing up at Wincanton last season, but handicapper clobbered him for it and he's generally found life hard since. Chances if reproducing Bangor effort two starts back, but trip may be on the short side.
Only moderate but does at least tend to run his race, and ran a little batter than finishing position suggests at Kempton latest. Trip fine, but generally happier on better ground, so may have to wait for another day for next win.
Point-to-point winner that's shown flashes of form in novice/maiden hurdles, and this drop back in trip on handicap debut looks a smart move after weakening out of it over further last time. Open to improvement and not out of this by a long chalk.
Won't mind however deep the ground gets, as he's a bit one-paced and will need every yard of this trip. Form a little patchy but worth a try in new headgear and if they go quick early, so much the better for his chances.
Wasn't unfancied when scoring over C&D here in January, showing a good attitude to beat Odello. Clearly no issue with conditions and only 5lb higher here, so with likely improvement to come, every chance of the follow-up.
Winner at Warwick in December but backward steps since then, pulling up twice. However, possible to find excuses for those runs and if forgiven, he'd have every chance of bouncing back to form under conditions that suit.
Has been sent off big prices but outruns his odds every now and then, and has run well enough here on his last two starts to think he could take a hand on his handicap debut here today. Ground fine and a bold showing no surprise.
Despite coming from a big yard, has shown very little to date and did little better at Fontwell latest, seemingly not finishing her race off. Still falling in the handicap but is hard to make a solid case for at present.
Looks nicely handicapped on his second at Uttoxeter last summer and was nicely backed to win at Huntingdon last time, wasn't beaten far but needs to dig in a little better when the pressure's on. Chances again if doing so.
Easy enough winner at Leicester in February but that wasn't much of a race, and she was disappointing when trying to follow up (made favourite) at Southwell last time. Drop back in trip may help but questions to answer once again.
Just the one win in 15 starts but well backed on last two outings, and ran a bit better than finishing position suggested at Ffos Las last time (weakened late). On a very dangerous mark and needs a look in the market once again.
Early days for him, this being only his seventh start, and hasn't been disgraced in a couple of handicap hurdles without ever looking likely to threaten. Some ability there, needs another step forward but that's not impossible.
Shown little so far, not thrashed on handicap debut at Doncaster last month but that was a weak event and much more is needed here. Yard can land gambles though, so worth a cursory glance in the market.

This should be run at a solid pace, with two or three potential front runners. Of those, Sackett makes a bit of appeal if he can pull out a bit more when the taps are turned on late, but it might be set up for something to travel into this from off the pace. On that, a chance is taken on JIMMY BELL, who has performed with credit in a couple of starts here and looks well enough handicapped to take a hand. Phoebus Lescribaa has some improvement in him and can get involved, as can Eaton Miller , another who we've not seen the best of yet. Samson's Reach is another to consider in a tricky opener.
