Runner-up to useful performer in a fillies' bumper last season (1m4f+), but hasn't been in the same parish as her opponents in four hurdles runs this term. Switches to the Flat for the first time, but truthfully looks firmly up against it.
Ridden out to score by ½L on debut over C&D in December, but that form appears relatively modest with the benefit of hindsight. Struggled next time at Lingfield, but might well appreciate the return to racing against her own sex.
French pedigree. Absent since appearing on turf at Catterick in September (6f good to soft), and whilst not overly appealing, it'll be mildly interesting to see if she can improve now switched to the AW for the first time.
Beaten only a few rivals home in three starts thus far (6f to 7f), so has failed to deliver on her rather optimistic sounding name. Nothing to suggest she's capable of an improved showing.
Showed signs of greeness on debut at Lingfield in January (1m), but worryingly finished rather tamely inside the final furlong. Makfi filly who cost just 8,500 gns in November, and mightn't make the grade until sent handicapping.
Approve filly who was beaten 4L by 1/8f Danzan on debut over 6f at Chelmsford last month (Regina Nostra a further 3¾L back in third). Hard to evaluate the worth of that form, but should stay this trip (dam a half-sister to a miler).
Her debut effort leaves her with something to find with Persian Prize, but she appeared to show some improvement when finishing 1¼L third to Meerpat at Newcastle next time. Upped in trip, but evidently is no great shakes.
Unraced third foal by Showcasing out of a dam who was a stayer (Starlight Walk). However, is a half-sister to 5f AW winner Met By Moonlight, so mightn't lack for speed. Cost 8,000 gns as a foal.

No obvious strength in depth in Division 1 of this Fillies Novice Stakes. Regina Nostra showed improved form on her second start at Newcastle, but the sneaking suspicion was that came in far from the strongest of races, and she has work to do to reverse placings with Persian Prize from Chelmsford. Unveiling is a previous C&D winner (form relatively modest), whilst Cyclades mightn't be one of Marco Botti's better newcomers. Therefore, small stakes are advised on the Karl Burke trained STAY IN THE LIGHT. She has a pedigree of both speed and stamina, and her trainer was amongst the winners at Newcastle on Friday evening.
