Hit form with back to back victories at Chelmsford in September. Not too bad since, but still looks high enough in the weights at present.

Has won here four times and is now re-equipped with the cheekpieces that inspired an improved effort three starts ago. Well drawn and just 1lb above his last winning mark.

Said to require strong handling and has Connor Beasley conjured two good runs from him last summer. Form has dipped since being claimer ridden and the draw has not been kind.

Course specialist who has blown his chances with some tardy starts in recent outings. Has one of the more experienced riders in this and on an attractive mark if the race goes to plan.

Nicely weighted based on turf form, however looks less effective on AW surfaces and well beaten last time on return from a break.

Now 12-years-old and a veteran of 119 starts, with 13 wins. The latest of those came in July off this mark. Has the services of an experienced young rider, but will possibly need the run.

Yet to make the frame in ten starts and has rarely threatened to do so. Hood added and nicely drawn, but it would be a surprise if she improved enough.

Forecasts

Tasaaboq (5/2), Prince Jai (9/2), Broughtons Fancy (11/2), Binky Blue (11/2), Burauq (15/2), Harbour Patrol (16/1), Kyllach Me (16/1), Moi Aussie (22/1), Cyflymder (25/1), Tess Graham (40/1)

Verdict

It is hard to be enthusiastic about any of these, but a chance is taken that MOI AUSSIE will improve for his second run back from a break and the switch to a faster surface. He is down to roughly the same mark as the first of two back to back victories last term and that may be enough to see him home in front. Tasaaboq has been expensive to follow of late but would be expected to go close with a good break and Binky Blue is a consistent mare who has been given a chance by the handicapper. In contrast Prince Jai has work to do from this mark, but has been going well lately. Burauq tried to take advantage of an opportunity to run off his old mark last time, but came up short. He is unproven at the trip but his latest effort makes this a worthwhile venture. Broughtons Fancy is just 1lb above his last winning mark and the return of cheekpieces may help him to an improved effort.
  1. Moi Aussie
  2. Binky Blue
  3. Broughtons Fancy
