Clearly wasn't fancied for Newmarket debut in October, being allowed to go off 150/1, and having been beaten 14L is tough to build a case for in this.
Dark Angel colt whose dam was place at Group level in France. Half-brother to a multiple winner and is worth a check in the market on debut.
Showed improvement from his first to his second starts (both on Tapeta) and shouldn't be ruled out if he takes a similar step forward here.
Hasn't figured in either of his two starts to date (both here over 6f). Tough to see this step up in trip bringing about the requisite improvement.
Excelebration colt. First foal of a dam who won over further than this and will in all likelihood be better over long trips too.
Ran better than his 100/1 price suggested he would over C&D last time but still needs to put in a much better showing here against rivals who promise more.
Ran a promising race when fourth on debut at Kempton last time. May not have an ideal draw here but should certainly hit the frame if coming on from that debut in any way.
Back down in trip despite having run slightly better on his second start over 1m2f. Could make up into a decent handicapper in time but this will likely be beyond him.
Iffraaj colt who cost 100,000gns as a yearling. A half-brother to Listed-placed Classical Times and a very interesting newcomer for top connections.
Didn't enjoy a clean break at Kempton on debut last time and steps up in trip here. With a clearer run he should finish closer than the fifth he managed there.
Medicean filly who cost just 800gns as a yearling and her pedigree is nothing to get excited about. Has had a wind op for this debt.
Multiplex filly who is a half-sister to Ambitious Boy, who has won twice here but is only rated 42. Best watched on debut.

Petruchio and Stealth are both colts who should have more to offer having shaped with promise on their respective debuts, but preference is for the Godolphin newcomer SPORTSWRITER. This son of Iffraaj cost 100,000gns (comfortably more than any other newcomers here) and has an attractive pedigree. He's hardly being given the toughest introduction here and so it taken to make a winning debut with a top AW jockey in the saddle.
