Son of Henrythenavigator who is a half-brother to a 1m and 1m1f winner including AW. Promising debut when third of 14 beaten 2½L behind Wooster before winning over C&D earlier this month. Another bold show looks likely.
C&D winner last month when finishing in front of 13 rivals beating Tropic Thunder ¾L. Beaten since on four separate occasions but still capable of a big run.
Improved in two starts at this track finishing third of 10 beaten 1¾L behind Wooster over 1m4f earlier this month before another solid effort over 2m three weeks ago beaten just 1½L.
C&D winner and runner-up here last month. Capable of having his say again but now 9lb higher than last winning mark.
Winner over C&D but a disappointing beaten favourite last time out earlier this month 5½L behind the winner Wooster and Sharjah and Shadagann.
Still without a win from eight starts here but has produced two fine performances before slightly disappointing over 1m4f before a 12L defeat over 2m last time out. Plenty to prove.
Improved on his debut performance here when finishing third of 14 beaten 2¼L behind Zaofu before disappointing effort earlier this month when behind Uncle Henry.
Winner over C&D at the end of last year but disappointed off a 3lb higher mark earlier this month behind Wooster and a number of tonight's opponents. Others make more appeal.
Sole AW start came in August 2014 when last of 13 over 1m at Pornichet-La Baule in France. Modest over hurdles since and possibly best watched here.
Best of four runs at this track saw him finish second of 14 to an odds-on shot over C&D in December before disappointing last time out finishing behind Golden Poet and Kirk's Dancer.
Got within 2L of Espoir D'allen at Down Royal on hurdles bow in November. 66-rated Flat handicapper for Karl Burke and could be capable of landing a blow here.
Behind Uncle Henry and Golden Poet on AW debut here earlier in the month. Sure to improve for the experience but possibly best left this evening.
Always held by the winner in an impressive performance over C&D earlier this month when second of 13 1L adrift of Carvelas.
Modest flat performer generally well beaten in three career starts on turf. May find this a tough assignment.
Forecasts
Uncle Henry (2/1), Alcander (9/4), Kuraka (13/2), Mandarin Monarch (7/1), Shadagann (8/1), Sharjah (16/1), Miss Mirabeau (20/1), Wrap Star (25/1), Kirk's Dancer (25/1), Golden Poet (33/1), Nuqood (50/1), Bobeska (66/1), Little Ambitious (66/1), Niebieski (66/1)
The Gordon Elliott-trained Kuraka and Sharjah could possibly go head-to-head for the lead in the early stages. C&D winner UNCLE HENRY can land the spoils here following two fine performances here in recent weeks with Alcander and Shadagann capable of hitting the frame while Miss Mirabeau can go well at a big price.
