Winner twice over the minimum trip and generally gives his running but losing run starting to mount. Went close off this mark two starts back at Newcaslte but couldn't back that up last time and yard have been a little quiet in recent weeks.

Dual C&D winner in excellent form lately and only just touched off in bid for a four-timer at Lingfield when last seen. May have won if better drawn and looks worth giving another chance to.

Five-time course winner (4 C&D) who is down to his last winning mark and 20lb below his last winning mark on the AW. Clearly well-handicapped but has struggled to beat a rival home this winter and hard to fancy.

Won her maiden over C&D in March and back to winning ways at Wolverhampton in August. Shaped as if amiss at Kempton last time but given time to recover and could be more to come off this sort of mark.

Returned from a seven-month absence to win back-to-back races at Southwell and his gate-speed will be useful on first start here. Best performance to date came over 5f so a drop back in trip should suit and yard do well with their sprinters.

4/1
Five-time AW winner (including C&D) but unplaced on five starts this winter and draw not ideal here. Encouraging signs when third over C&D last time and has to build on that now. Won this race last year.

Rattled off a hat-trick in the summer but well beaten on five AW starts this winter. Wide draw won't help his chance here and neither will his tendency to start slowly. Probably worth opposing.

Just one win from 26 starts on the AW and that came over further than this. Not competitive last time at Southwell and well beaten here the time before. Others arrive with stronger claims.

Five-time course winner who got back on track with a C&D success last time out. Still on a workable mark but has to come from a much wider draw today and this looks a tougher race; each-way chance.

Two wins from 10 starts on the AW, the latter of which came when making all at Lingfield last time. Unlucky to have only finished third at Kempton the time before and not dismissed if he breaks well for a yard in form.

Very effective front-runner on his day and latest success came over C&D, winning off a mark of 75 back in 2015. Not been in any sort of form lately though and has seemingly lost his ability.

Forecasts

Zipedeedodah (4/1), Jorvik Prince (5/1), Jack The Truth (6/1), Red Stripes (6/1), Twizzell (13/2), Bernie's Boy (7/1), Saved My Bacon (12/1), Midnightly (14/1), Deeds Not Words (14/1), Penny Dreadful (16/1), Bosham (25/1), Bertie Blu Boy (25/1)

Verdict

JORVIK PRINCE looked a little unlucky last time and has only gone up 1lb for that narrow defeat. He can remain effective with Gemma Tutty back in the saddle who has been on board for his last two wins. Midnightly is a course and distance winner and has been given time to recover from her most recent effort; the booking of Luke Morris could suggest a big run is expected. George Scott is a good trainer of sprinters and Jack The Truth may prove best of the rest if he can prove as effective on this surface.
  1. Jorvik Prince
