33-1 and never dangerous when beaten 12½L on his recent debut at Lingfield (1m). Switches to this slower surface, but no obvious clues as to his ability to perform on it from his pedigree and looks best watched again this time.
Went close twice on turf over 6f last year for John Gosden. Stepped up to 1m4f for two runs with this trainer at Newcastle and Lingfield and now switched to another different surface and dropped back to 1m. Competitive if handling Fibresand.
Improved for his debut here over 7f last month when returning over C&D to be a 2L second in a maiden last time. That is probably the best form on this surface in this field and he is naturally short-listed as a result.
Took him a couple of runs to get going and but in easily his best effort so far when tried here over 7f last time. Tongue tie is retained and return to this sort of trip looks positive, so looks capable of further improvement. Likely contender.
Was sent off at 14-1 but always in rear on her debut at Chelmsford (1m2f) last week. No obvious AW pedigree so now switched to the Fibresand she looks one to watch until showing more.
Not sold as a yearling. Half-sister to four winners, inc. Irish 1m AW scorer Glassatura. Trip looks a good starting point. Stable's only runner on AW this year was a winner and is 2-11 with AW juveniles in recent seasons, so market check advisable.
Forecasts
Love Rat (6/4), Dichato (5/2), Night Spark (7/2), Bobby K (10/1), Pretty Moi (16/1), Bright Saffron (25/1)
Debutante Pretty Moi would be interesting if supported here, though she is not a standout in terms of an All Weather pedigree and preference is for NIGHT SPARK, who proved himself on the track last time and could do better over this longer trip. Love Rat is a likely danger to the selection, while Dichato is not as easy to assess on his Fibresand debut, but keep an eye on the market for any obvious confidence in him.
- Night Spark
- Love Rat
- Pretty Moi
