Has mustered just the one Wolverhampton maiden win (5f) from 21 starts, but showed a liking for this surface when beaten just a neck (from 1lb lower) over C&D earlier in month. Not quite as good at Wolverhampton again last time but not ruled out.
Won a 7f Newcastle maiden in September and stuck on well to win by a neck in a Wolverhampton handicap (6f) last time. Has also proved that he handles this track recently and can't say he is thoroughly exposed, so could defy a 3lb rise.
Has been a standing dish here over the years with two C&D wins plus five others over 5f. Remains very competitive, though not running quite at same level as his last win here in April, so despite being 5lb lower he looks vulnerable at present.
Took him 18 races to get off the mark, but did so over C&D last time out when scoring by 6L. Upped slightly in grade today and also 10lb in the handicap and so is going to need improvement that his CV suggests is improbable to follow up.
Has taken to this surface in the past two months, going close and then winning successive races over C&D by 6L and 5L. Handicapper didn't miss that, however and he went up 12lb prior to his last run over 7f. Looks up against it on that evidence.
Beat The Amber Fort a neck over C&D last month, though now 4lb worse off with him. However, he is arguably more consistent, though he too will need to eek out a bit more to win again after going up another 2lb since his last run.
Sole success from 18 attempts came here over 5f in a maiden. Has put up other good performances both here and at Wolverhampton, including when runner-up there last time. Well handicapped on last year's form, but looks vulnerable on recent efforts.
Won a similar race from this mark over C&D on his handicap debut this time last year, which remains a career best. Has gone close at Lingfield since then. Out of sorts last twice, but on his first return visit since that success he is not ruled out.
Yet to win a handicap, having recorded his only success in a Wolverhampton claimer (6f) last June. Ran well enough from 2lb higher at Chelmsford last time out and tries Fibresand for the first time today. Has a squeak if he acts on the surface.
Has indicated that he is capable of picking up minor prizes in three out of four handicap runs at up to 1m and including over C&D. 2lb drop since last time will help on stable debut, though may not be quite enough.

A typical sprint conundrum for punters where the suggestion on her debut for Julie Camacho is BROCKHOLES. The trip was probably a little on the sharp side for her last time, but the step back up to 6f and a 3lb drop gives her an opportunity. Alfonso Manana has claims if he handles the surface, but that is far from a done deal, while Kommander Kirkup is respected and Mehdi, Monte Cinq and Amazing Grazing can all have cases made for them.
