Mark has fallen through the floor after some very disappointing efforts, shaped much better over this trip at Chelmsford 15 days ago on return from short break however and runs off the same mark having been beaten less than 2L in third.
Sported a first-time visor three weeks ago at Kempton when dropped back to this trip, but failed to have desired effect and unable to get involved. Plenty more required.
Fairly consistent filly in this grade remains unable to get her head in front when it matters, went down in a photo over 7f here in November and positive run over this trip at Kempton latest. Wouldn't be winning out of turn.
Nine-year-old lacks consistency and is 0-11 for on AW surfaces to date. Plummeting handicap mark as a result and produced much-improved effort when just touched off over 7f here on Wednesday. Mark unchanged and chance if repeating that effort.
Captain Gerrard filly unable to get off the mark in six turf starts, well held in trio of sprint handicaps in late summer/autumn. Cheekpieces added for this AW bow and handicapper has given her a chance.
Went close on turf a few times over the summer season, though best efforts have come over longer trips than this one. One to note on return from a break but may lack a turn of foot for this test.
Pair of promising efforts (from four) over this C&D and at Kempton (6f) this winter. Is 1lb below previous winning mark and can get involved in the finish if in the mood.
Kyllachy gelding with plenty experience and four wins to his name, sure to go close if repeating last week's narrow Kempton defeat over this trip.
C&D winner but that was back in February 2016, ran much better than finishing position suggested here on New Year's Eve and could be on a useful mark now based on that effort.
Mare was a winner over C&D in November and ran well enough at Kempton this month to suggest she'll be a contender back here with Nicola Currie back on board to take 5lb off.
Slowly getting the hang of things in four AW starts, without exactly looking progressive. Back up to 6f and likely to be up on the pace but will need to find a little more in the finish to make breakthrough.

Another contest where recent winning form is thin on the ground. MISTRY made all to score over this C&D in November and she perhaps didn't have the race run to suit at Kempton this month where the lead was contested. She's drawn to get away quickly here and with Nicola Currie's claim could be hard to run down off this mark if getting an easy time of it against a field of rivals that tend to struggle in terms of winning races. A big concern will be Warba, drawn alongside, and the filly that took her on for the lead last time out. Former C&D winner Burauq went close at Kempton this month and can be relied to stick his head in front when the chance presents itself while Drop Kick Murphi and Evanescent are others worth noting.
- Mistry
- Burauq
- Drop Kick Murphi
