The lightly-raced DESERT WIND is clearly improving on the evidence of his straightforward Wolverhampton success earlier this month. He carries a penalty for that win but should have more to offer and looks the most likely winner of this. Ambient could be the one he has to fear most on the back of promising efforts here and at Newcastle lately. Assuming he handles this extra distance, he'll be in the mix. Sociologist and Betjeman are worth monitoring in the betting.
