Showed plenty of speed to break clear of the field last time and the stamina in her pedigree meant she was never going to be caught. The opposition was not strong that day, but she clearly has tools that will win her more races.

Last on debut and then belied odds of 100/1 to score at Kempton. The time was slow and she has a tough task in trying to make amends for her latest mishap.

By Foxwedge out of a dam who was a winning miler for Jeremy Noseda. Yard not associated with winning debutantes and she will need to be smart to land this.

Dansili filly out of a mare who was twice successful in Listed company over 1m2f and scored on the AW. Encouraging debut when noted as the only runner coming from off the pace in a slowly run race. Yard 3-7 in AW novice events for this age group.

Half-sister to three AW winners for this yard including nine-time winner Siouxperhero. Looks highly tried on debut and the pedigree suggests she will make her mark in handicaps.

90,000 gns yearling. Half-sister to winners Symposium (6f-6½f, inc GB AW at two) and Orfeon (Spanish 7f-7½f). Came from a long way back here on debut and it would be hoped she would improve for the run.

Sister to the stable's triple winning handicapper Luxford. May be flattered by her debut effort when the odds-on favourite underperformed, but she still showed a nice attitude and will win races at a lower level than this.

Daughter of Zoffany who cost £36,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to a winner in Sweden. Will hopefully have learnt a lot from her debut when slowly away and refusing to settle. Aids fitted this time.

Harbour Watch half-sister to seven winners from 5f to 1m6f. Last of nine on Newmarket debut in November and hard to fancy despite an upturn in the yard's fortunes

Forecasts

Cosmic Love (7/4), Morning Has Broken (9/4), Chloris (7/2), Indiscretion (12/1), Dolly Mixture (14/1), Flora Tristan (16/1), Coralie (20/1), Ness Of Brodgar (50/1), Aiglette (50/1)

Verdict

Morning Has Broken and Cosmic Love will claim much of the attention here. The former blasted from the gates and never looked in danger of being caught in a much weaker contest than this at Kempton. Cosmic Love finished her race off nicely after looking in need of the experience when introduced here. However, a chance is taken that the impeccably bred CHLORIS can step up appreciably from an eyecatching run on her Wolverhampton debut. The daughter of Dansili out of the top-clas mare Primeverre was not knocked about, but was noted picking off rivals nicely in a race run at a muddling pace. Her trainer has an excellent record in this type of event and it is anticipated she will go on to better things.
  1. Chloris
  2. Morning Has Broken
  3. Cosmic Love
