On a handy mark despite being set to carry top weight but his long losing run is a tad off-putting and and he looks vulnerable on these terms despite posting a fair effort at Lingfield last time out.
Still a maiden but posted several decent efforts during his time in Ireland and comes here on the back of a sound effort at Wolverhampton, which was his debut run for his current yard. Interesting one to monitor in the betting.
Gone well here in the past and shaped nicely at Chepstow when last seen out. Possible he'll need this after being off since August though.
Blitzed an ordinary field in a maiden at Lingfield last month and has been left alone by the assessor, so feasible he's still very well treated. This is tougher but has to make the shortlist given the manner of that win.
Two reasonable effort for his current yard since leaving Richard Hannon but not obviously well treated just now and needs a lot to go his way.
Winner over 1m4f on her penultimate start but may not have been ideally suited by the drop in trip last time out. The extra furlong is in her favour today but it's a tad off-putting that she lacks experience of this particular course.
Showed a willing attitude to score over 1m2f at Chelmsford last month and has to be respected from just a 2lb higher mark. Never won over this trip but ought to have no issue stamina wise. Another to keep a close eye on in the betting.
In good heart just now and dangerously well handicapped but is an infrequent winner and not the most consistent recent profile. Place claims but risks attached.
Better efforts since joining her current yard but has a bit to find with Zambeasy and looks to have a stiff test ahead in her attempt to reverse the form.
Cost 55,000 gns as a yearling but was snapped up for just 800 gns at the Newmarket sales two years ago. Just behind Ice canyon latest but feasible he can reverse the places on these terms. Dangerous to underestimate.
Shaping with plenty of promise now he's being asked to tackle longer trips. Lack of course experience a concern but countered by a consistent profile and versatility regarding the ground. big chance if adapting to the surface.
Consistent gelding who won in a game manner last time out. Just 2lb higher this time and fared reasonably on his solitary previous start here. Shortlisted.
Best recent effort when placed in modest seller last time out and likely to find this stiffer test of stamina will suit. More required and lacks consistency, so cannot be recommended with anything more than speculative interest.
Forecasts
Mac O'Polo (9/2), Deeley's Double (11/2), Mullarkey (11/2), Kath's Legacy (8/1), Daily Trader (8/1), Colourful Career (10/1), Ice Canyon (14/1), Sufi (14/1), Zambeasy (14/1), Becca Campbell (16/1), Rahmah (20/1), Squire (25/1), Lazarus (33/1)
A chance is taken that the improving MARCO POLO can continue to flourish now his stamina is being out under more scrutiny and, despite lacking a previous run at this course, Tom Dscombe's gelding is very much on an upward curve and could take some holding. Colourful Career won well last time out and has to be highly respected from just a 2lb higher mark, while Ice Canyon and Daily Trader
