Was generally consistent last year and latest effort at Chelmsford can be forgiven as the trip was too far. Won at this trip at Brighton in September and still fairly handicapped on that. Chance if first time visor perks her up.
Pops up from time to time but the way he finished his race off at Lingfield last time, plus the fact his wins have come at 5f, does mean that this trip stretches him a bit. On that, more likely winners in the field.
Pretty consistent but like a few of these, finds getting her head in front difficult. Likes this surface but the jury still out as to what her best trip is. Can't be ruled out from a decent draw but others make a bit more appeal.
Has been steadily refinding her form and looks about ready to strike after a close second at Newcastle last time. Raised 1lb for that but that's negated by her good draw, and if repeating that effort, looks sure to go close.
Has been running creditably at 7f recently but on balance of evidence, this 6f trip suits better. Has had a short break, which should have done him good, and if cheating a poor draw, looks a player for the places at least.
Now only a pound higher than when winning at this trip at Chelmsford last October but that's due to a series of middling efforts. Not really looked like adding to that and in current form, a bit to prove.
Bounced back to form when springing an 18/1 surprise at Lingfield last time, making all and battling well for the win. Well drawn there though, which isn't the case here, so from 3lb higher mark, more on her plate to follow up.
Consistent in so much as he never gets beaten that far, regardless of trip, but seems to find the winning post always coming too soon. Similar scenario likely here, may run on late to challenge for the places.
Trip and surface fine but in no great form at present and a long time since the yard had a winner. This one looks unlikely to break that sequence and others make much more appeal.
Wasn't going anywhere fast but ran a stormer (at 150/1) when beaten just 2L at Wolverhampton over this trip last time, the tongue strap seemingly responsible for that. Chances if building on that, and one of the more interesting ones.
Has beaten just one horse home in three starts so far, and although going handicapping here offers her more of a chance, hard to see where the necessary improvement is coming from.
Well beaten at big prices on his last four starts and the application of cheekpieces here will need to have a major effect if he's to hold any chance.
Forecasts
Broughtons Fancy (7/2), Warba (5/1), New Rich (6/1), Rapid Rise (6/1), Chip Or Pellet (6/1), Mistry (12/1), Justice Rock (12/1), Wedgewood Estates (14/1), Lady Morel (20/1), Dalness Express (25/1), Taurean Gold (66/1), Brave Tart (66/1)
Both BROUGHTONS FANCY and Mistry come here off the back of good runs but Mistry looks drawn out of things unless getting a flyer at the gates, and preference is for Broughtons Fancy, who looks on the countdown to a win and can get off the mark for the year here. Dalness Express improved no end for the tongue tie at Wolverhampton last time and if it works the oracle again, isn't out of this. New Rich and Rapid Rise both hold place claims.
- Broughtons Fancy
- Dalness Express
- New Rich
