Well beaten at big prices on both outings to date. Likely to be of more interest once tackling handicap company.
Stepped up markedly on his Nottingham (soft) debut over an extended 1m when finishing third on the fibresand at Southwell over 7f last time out. Interesting to see how he fares stepping up in trip.
Held in three starts in France including on the AW at Deauville over an extended 7f in August and it was a similar story over 1m at Kempton last time out. More needed today.
Finished a highly promising 1L fifth in a C&D novice contest when making his debut last month. Sets the standard here and represents a stable who can boast a 31% strike-rate (4/13) in recent weeks.
Failed to trouble the judge in two starts over 1m at Lingfield late last year. More needed if he's to break his maiden today.
Finished third on both her outings to date including in a five runner contest over 1m at Chelmsford last time out. Interesting to see how she fares on this occasion.
Reared exiting the stalls and green when finishing last of 12 over 1m at Kempton on last months debut. Hood worn on that occasion is absent today.
Finished fifth on both starts so far with the most recent of those coming over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-firm) in July. Returning from a break today.
Beaten 33L when making her debut over 7f here a month ago. Needs to step up markedly on that if she's to register her first victory today.
Caught the eye when finishing fifth of 14 over 1m at Kempton on debut in November. Doing his best work at the end of the contest on that occasion and she is likely to appreciate this step up in trip.
Forecasts
That's So Cool (9/4), Barbara Villiers (5/2), Pilgrim Soul (5/1), Desert Wind (13/2), Ventura Magic (8/1), Hogar Seguro (8/1), Say About It (25/1), Just Right (50/1), Dame Nellie (66/1), Cornish Point (66/1)
The in form David Simcock is represented by THAT'S SO COOL in this novice stakes and he can register his first victory at the second time of asking having put in a good effort on debut here last month. Barbara Villiers has run well on both starts so far and can put in another sound effort by finishing runner-up while the once raced Pilgrim Soul, a creditable fifth on debut can finish third on his first attempt at this distance.
- That's So Cool
- Barbara Villiers
- Pilgrim Soul
