Successful off a mark of 100 at Stratford (2m6f, good) in May and put a disappointing effort behind her when finishing fourth at Carlisle (2m4f, soft) earlier this month. Interesting runner today.
Point-to-point and bumper winner who made a winning debut over hurdles when successful over an extended 2m4f at Market Rasen (good-to-soft) last month. Finished third under a penalty since and is a leading contender in this contest.
Ran well to finish 6L fifth in a decent looking novice hurdle at Chepstow (good-to-soft) last time out. Has also placed twice in bumpers and being a point-to-point winner should appreciate this step up in trip.
Couple of fair efforts in bumpers but well held in both starts over hurdles and probably best watched on her first attempt at this trip.
Ran well to finish 9L second at Wetherby (2m, soft) on the second of two bumper starts a month ago. Stable are in decent form (3/14) and she is one to note on hurdling debut.
Stepped up on previous form when finishing fourth over an extended 2m3f at Lingfield (soft) last time out. More needed if she's to take this contest however.
Good efforts in three starts in bumpers so far most recently when finishing 1L third at Warwick (good-to-soft) last month. Interesting to see how she fares on hurdling debut.
Successful in a point-to-point on good ground in the spring and subsequently purchased for £25,000 at the sales. Related to a number of useful individuals and she is worth a check in the market on rules debut.
Ballynoe (good-to-yielding) point-to-point winner in the spring but well held in a bumper at Exeter (2m1f, soft) on rules debut earlier this month. Others make more appeal on hurdling bow.
Forecasts
Redemption Song (9/4), Annie Angel (5/2), Sensulano (5/1), Black Tulip (7/1), Tennewrow (9/1), Oscar World (10/1), Queen Of The Wind (25/1), Tikk Tock Boom (50/1), Ask Alice (66/1)
OSCAR WORLD hails from a stable who have been in decent form in recent weeks and she can make a winning debut over hurdles in this opening mares novice hurdle. The selection ran well on soft ground at Wetherby last time and should appreciate the step up in trip today having run well in a point-to-point in the spring. Sensulano is another making her hurdling debut and having run well in a bumper here last time she is taken to claim second today while Annie Angel who contested a decent event last time out can claim third today.
- Oscar World
- Sensulano
- Annie Angel
