Lightly raced gelding formerly trained by Roger Varian. Bought for just 4,500 gns last month having last been seen in June when a beaten odds-on favoruite at Windsor. Price suggests may have an issue but remains unexposed.
Landed modest Newcastle A/W maiden in September on only start for David O'Meara having previously been trained by Brian Ellison. Bought recently for 7,000 guineas. Handles this surface so should be on the premises and wears first-time eyeshield.
On a 20-run losing streak. Having third start for current handler and is well handicapped on best of old form. Missed break last time so would have claims if jumping off on terms here.
Better on A/W than turf. Had a rough passage last time at Wolverhampton andis best judged on good second at Newcastle last month at big odds. Not without hope if able to get to the front and dictate matters.
Broke maiden at 13th attempt for previous connections then sold 14,000 guineas last month. Second start for current handler. Beaten favourite latest and drop back in trip not sure to suit.
Beaten favourite last two starts (on turf) having lost out by just a nose at Chepstow in August. Good jockey booking so market may prove an interesting guide to her chance.
6lb out of the handicap negated in part by apprentice rider's claim. Fair third here last week but didn't find much off the bridle when let down and looks a tricky ride. Has it to do on today's terms.

EBTKAAR is typical of the type his trainer does well with and despite a near 6-month absence may be good enough to land the spoils in a tight-knit affair. Any market support for Tulip Dress would be of interest, the money having been down the last twice, while the new headgear for Amazing Grazing might help concentrate his mind and see him get involved. Broughtons Knight and old Tellovoi are others with claims in an open contest.
