Four-time C&D winner who ran well for a long while over the same trip here latest before fading. Fitness should be boosted now and is currently 2lb lower than last winning mark so could go well.

Flat form in the summer uninspiring and latest run over hurdles was disappointing as favourite too. Needs much more here and trip probably too short.

6L tenth of 12 latest over C&D hardly screamed future winner and 2lb ease not enough to make him a leading contender.

Ran well at Chelmsford and Newcastle on AW before shade disappointing latest over C&D. Suggestion that this trip is on the sharp side for him.

Not really got competitive in last four starts, all over further. Well treated now in comparison to his AW win in February but evidence since far from compelling.

Dual course winner including three starts ago over 1m½f. This extra 1f didn't appear to suit last time when ninth of 12 over C&D and others make more appeal.

Now 1lb lower than mark for latest of five C&D successes. Disappointing of late but back to this favoured distance she should be capable of better.

Dutch Uncle54
Age: 5|  Weight: 9-5| J: L Morris| T: A Watson| OR:  83| CD
10/3
Dual C&D winner, the latest off today's mark. Not at his best for last trainer but switches again and this yard regularly reinvigorates new recruits so could go well.

Age: 5|  Weight: 9-3| J: L P Keniry| T: D M Simcock| OR:  81| CD

C&D winner last November but had a 2017 to forget really. Might be better now back in trip but after back-to-back lasts he's hard to fancy.

Maifalki17
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-1| J: D C Costello| T: J Ward| OR:  79| CD
11/2
Dual C&D winner who lost his way afterwards before a much improved fourth last time here over 1m4f where he was clear at the furlong pole before tiring. Back to this trip he looks to have a decent chance.

Raised 2lb today after an excellent second on AW bow at Newcastle latest (1m2f). Won off this mark in the past however so fully expecting another bold bid.

3¼L fifth latest over C&D his best effort for a while. Eased 3lb today so if he runs to the same level he has a chance of making the frame although not the most consistent.

Influent40
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: P J McDonald| T: J Tate| OR:  77
7/1
The least exposed horse in the field but already an AW winner. This her first try beyond 1m and mixed messages regarding stamina. If she stays she has an excellent chance.

Forecasts

Dutch Uncle (10/3), Maifalki (11/2), Andok (13/2), Influent (7/1), Rainbow Rebel (7/1), Swift Emperor (11/1), Coillte Cailin (14/1), Espresso Freddo (18/1), Nonios (20/1), Pensax Boy (20/1), Perfect Cracker (33/1), Sindarban (40/1), Afonso De Sousa (40/1)

Verdict

ANDOK ran a most promising race in what was his first start on AW latest and in a race full of question marks Richard Fahey's three year old has few. Influent rates a danger stepping up from 1m for the first time and if she stays she could very easily win this. Maifalki likes it here as shown again latest over 1m4f and back to this trip he should be even better.
  1. Andok
  2. Influent
  3. Maifalki
