Placed in three of her five maidens to date including latest effort in third over 7f here. Return to 1m here no issue and is highest of those with a rating so looks the one to beat in first-time cheekpieces.

Holy Roman Emperor newcomer is closely related to two winners at 1m-1m4f who both later won over hurdles. Belated debut for one likely more a long term prospect on breeding.

Showed some promise in two of her three maidens without getting seriously competitive. Last of eight when last seen however in first handicap and more needed after the break.
€2,500 purchase by Dawn Approach. Dam was a maiden from three starts but related to useful middle distance performers. Trainer without two-year old winner in last five seasons.
Newcomer by dual-purpose sire Doyen is a half-sister to a winner over 7f and 1m including on AW. Very rare flat runner for the yard and likely to soon be over hurdles.

Newcomer by the prolific sire Iffraaj and both her siblings won races (over 1m1f and 1m4f). Hood worn on debut but one of the more likable pedigrees so not ruled out.

Looked worth another crack at 1m in two good runs most recently in 7f maidens here. Cheekpieces and champion jockey both for first time are positive but draw on the wing very much a negative.
€6,000 foal by Epaulette out of an unraced dam from a speedy family. Small yard not had a winner or two-year old runner this year.

Ran better race latest (her second start) when fifth here in a 7f maiden staying on without ever threatening the leaders. More to come now, especially over 1m so has place chances.
€2,500 yearling by Approve is a half-sister to a couple of winner over 6f and 1m. Trainer only had one two-year old runner in last five years (unplaced).

Never nearer third on second of two turf maidens in the Autumn over 1m on heavy ground at Gowran. Had a short break since and very different surface to contend with today.

85,000gns yearling by Lope De Vega is a half-sister to a 6f two-year old winner from a well related, unraced dam. Very appealing newcomer on pedigree, one of three for trainer here.

Motivator newcomer is half-sister to winners from 5f-1m4f including at two. Trainer has low strike rate with juveniles and this one may need further.
70,000gns yearling by Iffraaj out of an unraced half-sister to two-year old Group One winner Seazun. Trainer has just one two-year old winner this season but pedigree of some appeal. Blinkers worn on debut.

Verdict

This looks a fair opportunity for ADALIYA to break her maiden tag after going close on a few occasions. She ought to appreciate 1m here and just about has the best form on offer. Greengage isn't far behind and rates a threat for the champion jockey although her draw is problematic. Of the newcomers Ship Of Dreams makes the most appeal, she is one of three debutants for Joseph O'Brien.
