Has improved with each start so far, including when beaten just 2L (at 50/1) here last time out. Would be in with a chance if continuing his progression here.

Beaten 11L into seventh on debut at Windsor last time having run a little greenly throughout the race. Should be finishing closer this time round.

Yet to such much in three races and has his work cut out in order to get involved here in first time cheek pieces.

25/1
Arakan colt who cost €9,500 as a yearling. Pedigree suggests he will probably be a bit better over further, but this is still a sensible starting point for him.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-10| J: S A Gray| T: Mrs A Duffield| OR:  76
5/4
Has run some nice races in defeat so far, including when beaten by less than a length at Newcastle last time out, and is the one to beat with the inside draw likely to aid his chances.

Horse silk
33/1
Ran as his 66/1 price suggested he would on debut at Kempton last time out, and unlikely he will find the necessary improvement for stepping up in trip by a furlong here.

Horse silk
14/1
Harbour Watch filly who cost €4,000 as a yearling. Plenty of 7f form in the pedigree but yard is 0/14 with two-year-olds so far this year.

Horse silk
40/1
Two only moderate efforts in novice races so far, including over this trip last time, and has plenty to prove only her third start.
9
(9)
Horse silk
12/1
Equiano filly who is a half-sister to a couple of winners. Pedigree is fairly versatile regarding trip and the market is probably the best guide as to her chances.

Forecasts

I'm Yer Man (5/4), Demons And Wizards (11/4), Haverland (7/2), Racehorse (12/1), Precious Silk (14/1), Boss For A Day (20/1), Lenin (25/1), Little Aub (33/1), Pretty Pearl (40/1)

Verdict

Demons And Wizards ran very well at a big price last time out but the one they all have to beat is I'M YER MAN. With placed form in tougher races than this and not many newcomers looking like particularly appealing options, this looks to be the perfect opportunity for this son of Foxwedge to get off the mark having been beaten by less than a length at Newcastle last time. Haverland didn't put in the most professional performance on debut and could hit the frame on his second attempt.
  1. I'm Yer Man
  2. Demons And Wizards
  3. Haverland
