Very good at his best, falling just short of elite level. His placed form at Meydan last winter would give him claims here if able to repeat it, though needed his comeback run last year and probably one to watch with future targets in mind.
Won last year's renewal from 6lb higher but has not been in that sort of form in the back half of this year. Scored at Leicester two starts ago but out of sorts last time (ground a possible excuse). Claims from this mark if he can bounce back.
Dual C&D winner, one of them in Listed company. Went close from 2lb higher at Chelmsford in June and not far off that level twice since. Draw not ideal but can't be ruled out back at this venue.
Has recorded four of his eight career wins in 2017, one of them here (6f) coming from 6lb lower. Now 1lb higher than highest winning mark, so claims on that basis, although it won't be easy for him to dominate as he likes to do, in this field.
Yet to finish out of first two on AW, winning over this trip at both Chelmsford and last time at Wolverhampton (career-best effort). Up 5lb for that and tries this track for first time, but still improving and has to enter calculations.
Has finished out of the frame just once in five starts here and scored over 6f in January from today's mark. Versatile tripwise, so no concerns there and now back here, he could do much better than his last two outings at Kempton.
Beaten 2L by Alsvinder at Wolverhampton last month, for which she is 1lb better off. Scored over today's trip at Southwell last time out, stable's runners going well and could not rule out a repeat from 4lb higher mark.
1-8 on AW (winner at Chelmsford) and runs here for the first time. Trip is his optimum and handicapper is giving him some encouragement, though inside draw possibly not ideal given his hold-up style.

Northern raiders Midnight Malibu and ALSVINDER should again both give good accounts here and preference is for the latter, whose consistency on artificial surfaces breeds confidence and he is given the nod as he doesn't look to have finished improving yet. Royal Birth should appreciate the return to this track and is not ruled out, though the draw could have been more kind to him, while Gracious John and Kasbah are others with claims.
