Has shaped as though he's in good form of late on two visits here the latest over 7f and that test on this surface looks rather too much. Could do with moving back to 6f when he would be of more interest on this surface.
Placed on her only two starts here so clearly acts on the surface and has dropped a long way in the weights of late (last win came off 92). Has taken a step back in the right direction of late (poor draw last time) and dangerous if building on her penultimate start.
Capable sort around here being a three time C&D winner but ran poorly here last time out looking a more difficult ride than usual. Dangerous to write off totally (7lb below his last winning mark) but questions to answer after his last run.
Course winner over a mile here at the backend of last year and a winner in turf since then over the same trip. Has run poorly on his last two starts and now back down in trip; given his recent form one to be wary of here.
First-time cheekpieces appeared to spur him to a win on his handicap debut over two years ago but he's not been seen much since then. Offered little on his recent return over C&D and can only be watched for now.
First ever runner for this stable his form has regressed since that run albeit over longer trips. Hard to see a lot of a lot of positives at the moment although he did come second here on his only previous start at the track; blinkers go on for the first-time.
Out-and-out front runner who has win here in the past but looks to be rather out of sorts lately with his stable rather quiet at the moment. Mark is workable but he needs to show more if he's to be of interest.
Took an age to get off the mark but did do here in October over 6f off a basement mark in a lower grade than this. Has struggled off higher marks since and that looks as though it will the case again here with the handicapper not relenting.
All of his three career wins have come over C&D with the last of them coming off a 9lb higher mark. Has had plenty of chances since then though on his favoured surface but continues to look out of form and a rather hard ride.
Irish raider who has so far only shown modest form and has yet to win a race although he did turn in his best effort of the season last time out over 7f on heavy ground. Has dropped like a stone in the handicap but would be of interest if he acts on this surface.
Both career wins have come on the AW with the last one here over a mile but that was over two years ago now off a stone higher mark. Undoubtedly well handicapped now if reviving and last win did come off a similar break.
Has shown that she acts on the surface at a modest level although this trip looks on the short side for her. Off a basement mark here but would be of more interest over further.
Makes her Fibresand debut having fared poorly last time out in a first-time tongue tie and very little solid form to make a case with here.
Forecasts
Bold Spirit (9/2), Why Me (6/1), Limerick Lord (6/1), Big Amigo (8/1), Bingo George (10/1), Sir Lancelott (10/1), Royal Holiday (10/1), Trust Me Boy (10/1), Maggie Pink (12/1), Barista (14/1), Mette (16/1), Hugie Boy (25/1), Madakheel (50/1)
Most of these are have questions to answer and plenty are rather struggling to find their form at the moment. Maggie Pink is dangerously well handicapped for a yard that do well here and must be respected and watched in the market. Bold Spirit has taken well to this surface but looks as though 7f tests him and he would be better over 6f. Limerick Lord is another who has plummeted in the weights and would have a chance if he came back to anything like his old form. A chance is taken with WHY ME though he is down in the weights and despite having no form on the surface is by a sire with an 18% strike rate here and connections are unlikely to have brought him here for a run round.
- Why Me
- Maggie Pink
- Limerick Lord
