Won a similar race to this at Newbury in August but not at that level in two handicaps since. Needs to improve for the return to 6f and to novice company. Visor on.

Ran a fair race on debut at Doncaster last time when finishing just behind Azpeitia. Perhaps less likely to improve than that re-opposing rival but less than a length separated them.

Finished fourth on debut at Doncaster last time when showing some signs of her inexperience. A more accomplished performance can be expected on her second start.

Second in her last two races (including when sent off 1/2 latest), and despite that last disappointment looks likely to put in another bold bid here. Inside draw and trip that suits her well both big positives.
Beaten 32L into last on debut at Leicester last time out. Massive improvement needed on AW debut for her to even hit the frame.

Has finished second on each of her last three starts, and seems to be most effective over this trip. Improvement seems to have leveled off but her apprentice's 7lb claim will help.

Out-ran her odds to finish fifth on debut at Lingfield last time. Every chance she could come on from that from a good draw.

Yet to beat a single rival home in two starts, having been beaten 38L and 26L (both at Kempton). Impossible to build a case for here.

Couldn't improve from Windsor debut when well-beaten at Wolverhampton last time out. May have raced too keenly there and needs to settle much better now.

Dubawi filly, and a half-sister to a winner over 5f (dam won over 5f and 6f). Worth a check in the market for this racecourse debut.

Seek The Moon
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: P Makin| T: D O'Meara
14/1
Giant's Causeway filly who cost €80,000 as a two-year-old and is a half-sister to a winner over this trip. Not completely ruled out on debut.

Forecasts

Daybreak (9/4), Azpeitia (9/2), Any Little Rhyme (5/1), Queen Of Desire (6/1), Lady Willpower (8/1), The Mums (12/1), Moon Song (14/1), Popsicle (14/1), Seek The Moon (14/1), French Sparkle (50/1), Ocean Spray (50/1)

Verdict

A few seemingly have a good chance here but the suggestion is DAYBREAK. Hughie Morrison's filly by Dawn Approach has been beaten less than a length on her last two starts, and though she was odds-on last time she should be capable of winning a race of this nature, particularly as this looks potentially weaker. Lady Willpower has also been finishing second recently, on her last three starts, and is another likely type, along with recent Doncaster fourth Azpeitia.
  1. Daybreak
  2. Lady Willpower
  3. Azpeitia
