Very modest for former trainer Alan Swinbank, and sold for 6,000 gns in July. Slowly away and always in the rear on recent stable debut at Redcar (7f soft). Next to no chance.
Has bits and pieces of placed form in the book in low grade handicaps at this track. Beaten just under 1L by Tifl over C&D almost three weeks ago.
Cost €65,000 as a foal and showed glimmers of ability for Jedd O'Keeffe. However, that light is beginning to fast diminish, and an official rating of 50 speaks volumes.
In many ways is beginning to look exposed, and was only third at short odds at Catterick (7f) latest. However, has shown some previous AW ability, and the hood could help her squeeze out some further modest improvement in a weak maiden.
Vale Of York filly who cost £12,000. Has failed to beat a single rival in two starts over 6f here this month, and takes a significant step up in trip tonight seeking much more.
Unraced 12th foal by Poet's Voice out of Mezzogiorno. A half-sister to eight winners including Monturani (1m-1m2f) and Monnavanna (6f-7f). Trainer is a regular source of Newcastle maiden winners, and this is a weak race in which to start off.
At 400,000 gns as a foal, this daughter of Dubawi has proved a disappointment on Polytrack thus far (1m2f). However, it's possible that she's simply a slow learner and the visor might help her to focus. Better over this shorter trip.

Middle Creek (13/8), Ambrosia (2/1), Meccabah (2/1), Valley Of Light (5/2), Supreme Power (14/1), Servo (33/1), Urban Spirit (33/1), Dream Destroyer (50/1)
No clear standout option in this rather modest maiden, but with Meccabah a non-runner, that narrows down the list of likely winners to just three horses. First time headgear is applied to two of those runners; Ambrosia and VALLEY OF LIGHT. Saeed Bin Suroor's 400,000 gns (foal) purchase is currently appearing a very costly acquisition, but it's feasible that she's simply a very slow learner and the visor could help to sharpen her focus. She should appreciate the drop back in trip, and gets a narrow vote over the John Gosden trained newcomer Middle Creek.
