Unraced daughter of Vale Of York bought for €5,200 at the sales in August last year. Half-sister to useful jumper King Of The Picts and worth a check in the market on debut.
Raced prominently until weakening late on when making her debut at Warwick (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Stable in good form at present (3/8) but more needed if she's to take this contest.
Unraced Beneficial filly out of a mare who was the winner of a point-to-point. Market support would be interesting for an Irish trainer having just his second runner on these shores in recent seasons.
Placed on both bumper starts so far most recently when finishing third in a first time tongue tie (retained) at Kelso (good) earlier this month. .Small stable are in good form at present (2/8) and she is likely to run well once more.
Finished runner-up on the second of two point-to-point starts in Ireland earlier this year. Stable are in good form at present (5/22) and market support would be interesting on rules debut.
Finished runner-up in a point-to-point in the spring and ran well to finish fourth at a big price in a competitive Cheltenham (good) bumper a month ago. One for the shortlist in this contest.
Unraced daughter of Milan purchased for £4,000 at the sales in spring 2016. Dam is related to high class chaser Mansony but she is probably best watched for a stable who are just 1/52 in bumpers in recent years.
Unraced Shantou filly cost €15,000 at the store sales last year. Full-sister to useful staying hurdler/chaser Super Duty and worth a check in the market on debut.
Unraced home-bred daughter of Saint Des Saints out of a six-time winning mare who was placed in a bumper on debut. Market support would be interesting on racecourse debut.
Ran well to finish third at Uttoxeter (soft) on debut 11 months ago but disappointed at Towcester since. Represents a leading stable on her return from over nine months off the track today.
Forecasts
Jennifer Juniper (7/4), Oscar World (4/1), Harrisons Promise (5/1), Strawberry Spirit (8/1), Shantung (9/1), The Mistress (12/1), Dammit Janet (16/1), Charmayne (33/1), Belle Of York (50/1), Roberttown Rose (66/1)
OSCAR WORLD ran well to finish fourth on her rules debut at Cheltenham last month and with that experience behind her the former point-to-pointer can register her first success for trainer Martin Keighley. The selection can get the better of Harrisons Promise who sets the standard here having placed twice in bumpers whilst third place can go the way of Jennifer Juniper who's trainer is in good form at present.
- Oscar World
- Harrisons Promise
