On a fair mark compared to his turf form, has won here in the dim and distant past but still capable of solid form on a going day. Has had a short break, but tends to need a run or two to put him straight these days, so best watched today.
Caught the eye here in October when travelling well from off the speed, but finds little for pressure these days and was never in it last time out. Can't really be fancied in current frame of mind, with this trip an unknown too.
Has run a little better on her last two starts, and her mark now 8lb lower than her last win (in 2016) so has her plus points. Drops in grade here too, nicely drawn to sit just behind the pace, and no reason not to go close once again.
Has been nothing if not consistent throughout the latter half of the year, and despite not getting his head in front has run some solid races. C&D winner here last year, so conditions fine, and another to consider in a tricky event.
Is 1-1 over this C&D and caught the eye in a major way at Lingfield last time, getting no run at key stages and running better than his finishing position suggested. Better drawn for the cutaway here and should be on the premises.
Made all over C&D when last seen here in October and handicapper has not overreacted in putting him up just 2lb, but this is a better grade of race so may need a little more. Not so well drawn either, and others make more appeal.
Has fallen a long way in the handicap and on the evidence of her effort at Lingfield two weeks ago, where she wasn't beaten far, may be able to take advantage. Acts well on this track and excellent jockey booking again.
Back to form on last two starts and came good at Chelmsford last time out, coming with a strong late run to nail the prize. Only 2lb higher here but this is a stronger race, so may need to pull out a bit more. Chance nevertheless.
Winner on debut at Redcar in October but disappointing at Southwell on only other start. Wouldn;t be the first to run poorly on the Fibresand and bounce back next time, so deserves respect, and not discounted.
Visor that's been on for two below-par runs has been removed, which can be taken as a positive (won without one in January) but record at the track not great, and on that, probably best to look elsewhere for the winner.
Still a maiden after 12 starts but has gone close twice recently, almost getting there (in first time blinkers, retained here) at Wolverhampton latest. No reason not to run his race but upped in grade, so places may be the best he can hope for.
Had fallen a long way in the handicap before striking over C&D last time out, winning with a bit in hand. Up 5lb for that and this is harder, but was capable of good form in much better grade previously and the follow up can't be ruled out.
Forecasts
Geoff Potts (9/2), Kinglami (6/1), Very Honest (7/1), Arnarson (7/1), Pretty Bubbles (7/1), Straight Away (8/1), Run With Pride (8/1), Higher Court (10/1), Bahamian Heights (10/1), Deeds Not Words (12/1), Mister Freeze (25/1), Arlecchino's Leap (33/1)
Higher Court is most likely to make a bold bid from the front but this is tougher than his last win here, and the draw hasn't been so kind either. With Derek Shaw running into a bit of form, RUN WITH PRIDE might be able to follow up his win here in October, as he's still on a good mark on historical form and has conditions to suit again. Pretty Bubbles comes from a yard struggling for winners but it's hard to knock what she did here last time and is capable of taking a prize home. Geoff Potts and Arnason can fight out the bronze medal.
