Managed to improve from his debut over C&D last time but the form on the whole was only modest (finished third beaten a fair way). More needed at the weights here to make an impression.

Won two nurseries at Musselburgh earlier in the year over 7f on both occasions finding plenty for pressure. Below form on her AW debut at Wolverhampton last time and now tries this surface for the first time; respected given connections.

Looked to have been building up to something when winning on handicap debut at Carlisle in September over 7f on heavy ground. Her one subsequent effort looked rather lacklustre (trip possibly too far) and she sets the standard here on Fibresand debut.

Has a second here to her name over 5f on debut but has never really built on that run over a variety of trips. The visor now goes on for the first time in a bid to find some improvement although she faces a tough task at the weights.

Appears to have regressed from her debut and already well beaten in this grade on her second start. Makes her AW/Fibresand debut here facing a very stiff task at the weights and would be a surprise winner.

Forecasts

Powerful Society (11/8), Kikini Bamalaam (9/4), Amity Island (4/1), Kheleyf's Girl (13/2), Tea Rattle (20/1)

Verdict

This looks to be between two nursery winners from earlier in the year with POWERFUL SOCIETY narrowly preferred to Kikini Bamalaam at the weights. Both hare running in this grade for the first time and are newcomers to this surface which rather tempers enthusiasm but the Fahey runner looks to hold a slight form edge also. Amity Island was well beaten here last time and he may have to give best to Kheleyf’s Girl for the minor placing.
  1. Powerful Society
  2. Kikini Bamalaam
  3. Kheleyf's Girl
