Off since late July when a 5L runner up to Foxy Act at Newton Abbot (2m5½f good to soft). Conditions appear fine, and he should be fairly competitive from his current mark.
A 16 race Flat maiden, but a winner over hurdles at Wetherby in January (2m maiden good to soft), he brings plenty of Catterick experience to the the table, but others are preferred.
A 19 race career maiden in France (Flat, hurdles and chases), he finished 7¾L fifth of 12 to Chozen on his UK/stable debut at Carlisle earlier this month (2m1f soft). Extra distance to cover, but sharper for that start.
A winner for Gordon Elliott at Down Royal in November 2016 (2m6f good), he was unable to build upon that success in five further starts in Ireland. Sold for £6,000 in September and pulled up on his recent stable debut.
Hasn't seen a great deal of action over the past 12 months, but has now fallen back to his last winning mark (2m soft, at Kelso in April 2016). Pulled up on his return at Carlisle; weakened quickly after racing prominently.
Flat winner in Ireland (1m & 1m3f) who remains a six race hurdles maiden. However, showed ability when a close up third to Undefined Beauty at Southwell (2m good) latest. Sharp track ideal, but this extra 3f is a slight concern.
A past winner for Oliver Sherwood (May 2015). Has kept reasonable form from this mark since returning from a break at Kelso in September. No surprise if he's involved in the mix up.
Shown a reasonable level of form for Colin Tizzard and Charlie Longsdon without appearing out of the ordinary. Handles most ground conditions and is undeniably well treated on the pick of his form, but well wide of the mark for this stable thus far.
Point-to-point winner (October 2016). Showed improved handicap form over 3m at Newcastle on Friday when beaten 1½L by Chu Chu Percy, and is turned out quickly on similar ground over a 5f shorter trip. Major player.

Forecasts
Bocasien Desbois (9/4), Dulce Panem (9/2), Jokers And Rogues (5/1), Manny Owens (6/1), Romulus Du Donjon (13/2), Justatenner (12/1), Black Anthem (14/1), Fantasy King (16/1), Allfredandnobell (20/1), Wolfslair (66/1)
A new National Hunt season at Catterick, with the ground predicted to be riding no worse than Good to Soft. BOCASIEN DESBOIS posted a much improved handicap effort at Newcastle on Friday when splitting in-form rivals Chu Chu Percy and Triopas, so there's every chance that he's well treated off his current mark. 2m3f around here certainly wouldn't be his ideal test, but he handles decent ground and this looks far too good an opportunity to spurn. Manny Owens should have races in him from his current mark, but he finished tamely at Southwell (2m), so this extra 3f is a slight concern, but he should be in the shake-up along with both Romulus Du Donjon and Jokers And Rogues.
- Bocasien Desbois
- Romulus Du Donjon
- Manny Owens
