Form had been regressive prior to a dismal run on her handicap debut. Soft ground may have been a factor but she would still have to be considered a risk even under the champion rider.
Ordinary form so far but dropped in class and the stable are in good form currently. Not dismissed in a race as uncompetitive as this.
Few signs of ability for Brian Meehan and down considerably in grade on debut for new yard. Best watched for now.
Signs slightly more positive in blinkers last time but he still looked one paced. Each-way possibilities but others are more appealing for win purposes.
Has signalled ability in better company than this and has looked the type to do better when handicapping. Up in trip and one to note if market signals are positive.
Improved at Nottingham on handicap debut after missing the break. Dropped 2lb for that and the way he finished suggested he should be a factor over this trip and in this easier grade.
Produced a good turn of foot to score at Kempton after encountering trouble. Again had a troubled passage last time when the steady pace would not have helped. Interesting jockey booking and one for the shortlist.
Placed only once in seven starts from 5f to 1m2f. Clearly has his limitations and should find one or two of his rivals too strong.
Good effort to chase home Sauchiehall Street and gets a 4lb pull for half a length. Professional rider takes the reins this time and he looks a leading player.
Has not shown much so far but that could change now handicapping and tackling a longer trip. Top AW rider on board so worth a market check.
Down the field at big prices on all starts including handicap debut. Blinkers need to have a dramatic effect.
Has promised more than she has delivered so far and recent evidence would mark her as a doubtful stayer.
Refused to race last time having shown no worthwhile form in his previous starts. Makes no appeal whatsoever.
Forecasts
Sauchiehall Street (3/1), Mouchee (4/1), Progressive Jazz (5/1), Mr Large (7/1), Onefootinfront (10/1), Ahfad (12/1), Sigrid Nansen (12/1), Global Angel (12/1), Power Sail (16/1), Misty Breese (40/1), Amiirah (125/1), Caviar Royale (125/1), Afterthisone (150/1)
Sauchiehall Street and PROGRESSIVE JAZZ met at Kempton with the former coming out on top. However, Karl Burke's charge is better off at the weights this time and he may not need as much luck in running as his rival. Onefootinfront shaped as though he would improve for this trip when staying on last time. The handicapper has dropped him 2lb for that and he has the potential to play a major role. Ahfad is interesting in this grade for his handicap debut and it would be no surprise to see him improve significantly.
- Progressive Jazz
- Sauchiehall Street
- Onefootinfront
