Shown nothing under rules since winning a 3m mares maiden point-to-point in May 2016, including on stable debut at Hexham last month (pulled up).
Not fluent and never involved on her hurdles/stable debut at Kelso (2m) last month. Looks very limited in terms of ability already.
Little to recommend her upon on the basis of her four hurdles runs to date. A half-sister to Burgundy Beau, she most likely needs 3m and fences.
Improving mare who produced a career best effort when a nearest at the finish 5¼L third to Court Liability at Sedgefield (2m5f) recently. This more galloping track should suit.
Scorpion mare who cost £15,000 after winning a 3m Curraheen mares maiden in May 2015. Just the sole start since in a bumper, and makes her hurdles debut off a 28 month absence.
Hurdles debutant who has found the ideal opportunity in which to start off over timber. Her bumper form isn't strong, but certainly okay, and she was beaten just 2L by Peters Cousin on her seasonal return at Carlisle last month (2m1f soft).
Flemensfirth mare who finished a plugging on 11½L third to Niceandeasy at Hexham last week (2m4f soft). Encounters different ground today in a weak contest.
Point-to-Point and bumper maiden, who showed little on her stable debut at Carlisle last month when pulled up in a 2m3f+ contest won by Count Meribel. Wears a first time tongue tie.
A ten race maiden who is steadily regressive. Often fails to complete, and has dropped 23lb since being allocated a handicap mark. No chance on these terms regardless of the first time blinkers.
Well related, with her dam being a half-sister to the tough 2m to 2m4f handicap hurdle winner Sillymore. Won her first two bumpers on decent ground at Kelso, before being outclassed at Cheltenham. Hurdles debut after 12 months off.
Forecasts
Tokaramore (6/4), Mary Eleanor (13/8), Katy Royal (3/1), Cheenys Venture (20/1), Millrose Bell (25/1), Kilcullen Lady (50/1), Clovelly (100/1), Once An Angel (100/1), Avondhu Pearl (100/1), Sybil Grey (200/1)
Good ground will be ideal for the dual bumper winner Tokaramore on her hurdles debut, but she does have a 12 month absence to overcome. Both Katy Royal and Millrose Bell have shown some signs of ability over hurdles, with the former holding more experience, and having an altogether more solid feel. However, it is Tom Lacey who holds all of the aces with MARY ELEANOUR as he seeks to improve upon his impressive Newcastle career statistics. She posted a respectable seasonal reappearance in a Carlisle bumper last month, and assuming she stays this longer trip (likely) has been found the ideal introduction to life over hurdles.
- Mary Eleanor
- Katy Royal
- Tokaramore
