Not getting any younger and seemed to lose his way last season after a trio of thirds. Still 2lb higher than last win and that nearly two years ago so tough task on reappearance.
Campaigned as an out and out stayer for Gordon Elliott last term without success. Broke blood vessel when pulled up at Stratford on second start for this yard last time and that a major concern.
Won three times over the summer from 2m to 2m4f. Made jumping errors last time when disappointing at Stratford. Must show capability off this mark and softer ground not sure to suit.
Won first two chases before being pulled up (presumably lame) and missed all of last season. Long absence a big concern although he looked one with potential before it.
Won off todays mark in 2016 albeit in a moderate four runner novices handicap. Seems to stay this sort of trip these days and should strip fitter for recent return from long absence.
Maiden of eight starts who made his chasing debut last month and was completely tailed off. Difficult to find any enthusiasm based on that.
Rarely runs a bad race this one although he has generally been campaigned at a modest level. Chase mark still 10lb below hurdles and never out of the first three last season so should go well if ready after summer break.
Over two years since he last won including in nine starts for this stable. Decision to try 3m1f latest was astounding as he's frequently looked to struggle even over today's 2m4f. Hard to fancy.
Won lone chase over this distance at Worcester in June 2016. Back from long layoff this summer with two fourths including here latest. That was encouraging and looks a leading player now just 3lb above winning mark.

ZAYFIRE ARAMIS gets the call here in receipt of weight from all. He ran well over C&D latest and still has potential as a chaser. No Ceiling is a consistent sort and he is expected to go well on reappearance. Bestwork may be inconvenienced by softer ground but if he does handle it is a leading contender.
