Disappointed last twice upped to 1m2f but won well over 1m on the July course in July. This trip likely more suitable but vulnerable still 5lb higher than last winning mark.
Good third of 12 at Newbury latest over 1m only beaten 1L. Just as effective on quicker ground as he gets here and more undulating courses and with cheek-pieces added he merits respect.
Lone turf run was disappointing as was his lone run this year. Lengthy layoff since and very lightly raced so would seem tough to train. Likely back to AW soon where he has already excelled.
Won a competitive 7f handicap at York in September before finding life harder subsequently upped 6lb. Extra furlong here ought to help and quick ground no issue but still looks handicapped to the hilt.
Won a Tipperary maiden on soft ground and best run for current yard on same ground at Haydock when third. Disappointed as joint favourite at same venue latest and major question marks over this going.
Consistent sort who seems to handle 1m now having mostly raced over 7f. Likes to be ridden up with the pace and always gives it a good shot but others may be well handicapped enough to pick him up.
Quick ground seems key to this filly so these conditions ideal. ¾L third of 11 latest over C&D her best effort since a win at Redcar on good to firm in the summer. Bold bid likely with these conditions.
Landed a quick double in the spring and ran well after. Returned from a layoff last time and for new yard when beaten out 33L at Pontefract. Ground there too soft but such an effort still raises alarms.
Haydock maiden winner has been last in two subsequent handicaps and had a layoff since. No relent from the handicapper after most recent run so hard to fancy.
Dual AW winner has never got competitive in four starts this year. Changed stables and hood tried here but likely an AW campaign over the winter will be the focus.
Won twice in July and not far away since. Headed late on over 1m½f at Nottingham latest when a ½L third. Career high mark today but warranted as he continues to improve and ought to go well again.
Unsuccessful in 10 starts this year. Last win did come on good to firm so this may suit more with majority of recent runs on softer. Not the most consistent but chance if on a going day.
Second in this race last year and 1lb lower this time round. Ran well last three times culminating in win at Chelmsford over 1m. Always flourishes in the Autumn and looks a leading contender.
All weather winner hasn't transferred form to turf with a largely poor campaign. Bottom weight here but hard to fancy on all known turf form.
Forecasts
Alexandrakollontai (5/1), Pacific Salt (6/1), Roll On Rory (13/2), Titan Goddess (8/1), Plant Pot Power (8/1), Invermere (8/1), Dark Intention (10/1), Pecheurs De Perles (10/1), Lawmaking (14/1), Toriano (14/1), Shamrokh (16/1), Rubens Dream (16/1), Roman De Brut (25/1), Maifalki (25/1)
Runner-up in this last year and arriving in fine form TITAN GODDESS has rock solid credentials so looks the safest bet in an open contest. Plant Pot Power is one of the biggest dangers based on his last outing where just touched off at Newbury. Alexandrakollontai isn't what you would call consistent but she is much better on fast ground as she showed last time out and a similar effort would see her firmly in the mix.
- Titan Goddess
- Plant Pot Power
- Alexandrakollontai
