Has gone 15 runs without a win but second of 13 over C&D on penultimate outing, has dropped 2lb for tame effort on turf since. Not the most reliable.

Has not won since June last year but has dropped in the weights and is 8lb lower than when last successful. First-time blinkers added now trying this Tapeta surface and could have a say on fourth start for this handler.

Decent AW strike rate at this sort of level (8-37 for 22%) and ran well over C&D in September when beaten 1L into second of 13 off mark of 53. Claims from 1lb higher.

Filly is without a win in nine starts so far, with only fleeting positives. Beaten just over 6L this C&D last time out on debut for this yard. That was off a break so could have more to say having come down 3lb since.

Career best effort when finishing 2L third at Doncaster (6f, good) in a first-time visor in August. Much poorer efforts either side and hard to trust this six-race maiden for now.

Sprung a 66/1 surprise on her final run of last season when taking a claimer at Beverley (5f, good to firm). Not looked capable of repeat in five turf runs this year and makes first AW start now.

Lightly-raced maiden has struggled in all four starts, drops to the minimum trip for handicap debut and seems unlikely he'll hit the bullseye.

Still a maiden after 24 starts, with a breakthrough seemingly unlikely based on 20 runs so far this calendar year. Cheekpieces tried now, easier to look elsewhere.

Likeable 11-year-old with 18 wins from his 200 career starts. Has now gone 20 between drinks however and didn't really threaten to end sequence in five runs last month.

Sole career win from 18 goes came in a 6f Hamilton handicap in August 2016 from a mark of 54, seldom looked like repeating it since and others are easier to make case for again.

Career record is 5-48, with no win since August 2015. Has run only four times in 21 months and little encouragement garnered from those efforts.

Forecasts

Windforpower (2/1), Racing Angel (11/4), Little Miss Lola (11/2), Bond Bombshell (6/1), Captain Scooby (10/1), Roman Times (14/1), Naralsaif (22/1), Ninedarter (40/1), Newgate Sioux (50/1), Burnt Cream (50/1), Celerity (50/1)

Verdict

WINDFORPOWER looks the most attractive option in this line-up. He's twice obliged over C&D this year already boosting his AW strike rate to 22% as he did. He was second from 1lb lower last time out and, given few of his rivals have strong cases, is fancied to go one better. Bond Bombshell is not reliable but was second over C&D on penultimate outing while Racing Angel is well below previous winning mark of the first-time blinkers help her take to this surface. Little Miss Lola is having just here second run for this trainer and might have more to say than when beaten 5L over C&D last time out.
  1. Windforpower
  2. Racing Angel
  3. Bond Bombshell
