Has never finished out of the frame in this grade when the going has been on the soft side, but now over two years since last success. Tumbling down the weights and this is a litmus test as to how much enthusiasm he retains.
Down to his last winning mark having been highly tried since a Ripon success in June. Stable have been going through a lean spell and his mark will be attractive when they show signs of bursting into life.
His two career best efforts have come over C&D. Travelled well last time and a further drop in the weights should see him deliver another solid performance.
Winner of five races but looks high enough in the weights and ground may be slower than ideal. Has been showing a tendency to hang under pressure and this test will require him to show him greater resolve.
Opened account at Dundalk on first run since being gelded. Handles a soft surface and interesting here for a yard that are 7-25 since 2013 with their turf runners on this side of the Irish Sea.
Both his career victories have come on the only occasions he has had give underfoot. Needs to be delivered as late as possible so will require luck in running. However, remains feasibly treated and interesting now connections have found his trip.
160,000 gns son of Dark Angel had little trouble in disposing of a poor lot at Leicester. Pleasing effort on handicap debut but this look stronger and he is considered better on quicker ground.
AW winner for Richard Hannon and has shown enough to give new connections hope he will repay their £11,000 outlay. Has run into trouble in two of his three starts for this yard and his mark has been falling as a result.
His success in the "Legends" race at Doncaster was his first since June 2013. Has backed that up at Redcar since but his overall record does urge a degree of caution.
Showed a liking for some give in the ground when picking up a Doncaster maiden on stable debut. Form has been mixed since and he has looked better in class 5 company.

Forecasts
Monaadhil (9/2), Maratha (9/2), Off Art (5/1), Rosarno (7/1), Pure Action (15/2), Zeshov (8/1), Finale (8/1), Instant Attraction (17/2), Magic City (20/1), Wasm (25/1), Mamdood (28/1)
Most of these carry enough negatives to outweigh the positives in this tricky contest. Irish raider Pure Action represents a yard that makes the most of its forays over here and conditions look ideal. MARATHA likes it around here and a recent fall in the weights after travelling well last time suggests he will post another good effort. Monaadhil will need the surface to dry out if he is to produce the improvement that will be required, whilst Off Art is hardly prolific but arrives in excellent form. Instant Attraction has been flying high since his successful 2015 campaign. The combination of trip, ground and class of opponent provide him with his best chance of regaining the winning thread in that interim period and he is worth noting for a positive market move.
