Two respectable effort so far and likely more to come from this 130,000 gns purchase. Interesting contender for a top yard, so plenty of ticks in the right boxes.

Third of six on debut but well beaten on that occasion and plenty more now required. Bred to be effective on the AW, so feasible there may be a bit more to come. Likely to be next year on the evidence available though.

Last on debut and ran out in the early stages last time hardly inspiring form. Surprising if allowed to start at double figure odds.

Looks a fractious type and may be best to gauge the betting before taking any plunge with a speculative punt that his top trainer can quickly find the the key to this well-bred but possibly temperamental individual.

Cost 50,000 gns as a yearling and has shown a glimpse of ability. Needs to improve on his latest effort but at least has experience of 7f, so not without a chance if taking to an artificial surface.
Cost just 7,000 gns and is out of an unraced half-sister to a Gimcrack winner. Limited appeal on paper and may be best watched on debut despite her yard being back among the winners.

Dam was a decent sprinter who has AW winners in her pedigree. Yard very quiet just now, however, and this filly makes limited appeal in her bid to boost the coffers.

Cost 72,000 gns and debuted in a race that has produced winners. Absence since April a bit of a concern but this does lack strength-in-depth, so it's very possible this could turn out to be a canny bit of placement by her connections.

Two starts to date just ordinary and the fact she went off at odds of 100/1 latest suggests she is still a work in progress. Qualified for a mark after this so may do better in handicaps in due course.
Yard has had winners in the last fortnight, so feasible she could extend the run of form. The betting can guide but others more appealing on face value.

Last on both previous starts and has shown little to get enthusiastic about. Yard also quiet just now, so probably safe to let her do her own thing.

Went for 70,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to several useful types. yard can get one ready and this daughter of the top-class Teofilo could be dangerous to underestimate. The betting can guide but one of the more interesting contenders.

Keen to get on with things on debut but finished well beaten in the end. Should be wiser for the run but needs to learn to settle.

Related to winners in the States but lacked sparkle in either start to date. May find more for the switch in surface but still plenty to prove.

Verdict

John Gosden may have had plenty of bigger fish to fry but DAMOCLES can keep things ticking over at this sort of level for the two-time champion trainer. Domitilla also appeals as one to bear in mind as a potential spoiler, while Peace Terms is another that catches the eye as a nicely-bred fil;ly to be introduced at this time of year.
