Debutant by Galileo out of dual 1000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo. Brother to 1m2f winner and closely related to 1m Group Two two-year old winner Ol' Man River. Trainer's runners improve for first run but more than interesting here with his pedigree.

Improved effort latest when 6½L fourth behind heavily backed O'Brien colt who has since won a Group-Three at Naas. More needed today but no surprise if he is involved.

Only 1¾L behind Dewhurst runner-up Mendelssohn on debut but disappointing here subsequently when beaten 11L into 11th of 14. More needed and suggest debut effort somewhat flattered him.

Well backed on debut at Naas when joint-favourite and he was an encouraging third of 15 over 7f. No surprise if he is one of the main protagonists here with that experience under his belt.

Unplaced in four starts including latest handicap debut at Naas when 10th of 14. 1m looked to test him there so this trip will be preferred but more needed.

Was 9¾L behind the smart Delano Roosevelt when seventh of eight on debut at Leopardstown. Had a layoff since so possibly picked up a problem there. No surprise is there is more to come from him.

Fifth of six at Naas on debut followed by eight of 13 at the Curragh last time over 7f. Layoff between two runs and since latest so maybe not the easiest to train. More needed to be involved.

Holy Roman Emperor debutant is half-bother to winners Justice Day (5f-6f including at 2 and Listed) and Yorkshire Dales (1m). Trainer none from 11 this season with two-year olds so best watched for now.

Ran well enough in a couple of maidens at Fairyhouse and here in September before disappointing at Naas last time where soft ground may have been a factor. If he bounces back he could be involved.

19,000gns yearling by Equiano out of a 7f-1m winner in Italy. Trainer not had a winner in 30 runners this season so hardly the sort likely to go well first time.

Sakhee's Secret filly who caught the eye when sixth of 14 beaten 3¾L on debut here last month. Extra furlong no problem today and could go well.

Never landed a blow on debut here last time but wasn't given a particularly hard ride and experienced some trouble in-running. Better can be expected here, without her being considered a likely winner.

Teofilo newcomer is notably half-sister to three winners all on AW including two over this trip. Trainer does well with AW two-year olds more so than he does on turf so with leading jockey booked she is worth a check in the market.

Slightly improved effort last time out when seventh of 10 at Naas but ground to make up with re-opposing Groovy Jazz based on that run and suspect she may want a bit further to show best.

Verdict

Jessica Harrington's LOVING A BOOM sets the standard here having run well on debut at Naas. He was well backed there so had clearly shown ability at home and with the run under his belt there should be more come. The main worry would be the presence of regally bred debutant Foreign Secretary although most of Aidan O'Brien's two year olds come on significantly for their first run. Groovy Jazz met a smart one last time but wasn't disgraced and he is expected to be thereabouts in this contest.
