Made the frame on 22 of his 55 AW outings including on his penultimate start over this C&D in August. Well held here last time however and more needed today.
Best effort since joining this yard came when fourth at Pontefract (soft) over this trip last month. Finished last of 13 at Kempton since and others make more appeal.
Victorious over this trip at Pontefract (good) in June and put in a couple of good efforts since. Well held the last twice however including on the AW last time out.
Sole success in six starts came on soft ground at Bath in June last year. Well beaten in three starts this and drops in trip and grade today.
Ran well to finish second over 1m at Windsor (good-to-firm) in August but well beaten over 7f at Newcastle last time out and has a poor draw to contend with today.
Running well in recent months and rewarded for consistency when successful over 6f at Leicester (soft) last time out. Races off a 4lb higher mark today and is likely to run well once more.
Well beaten in two of her three starts since winning over this trip at Carlisle (good-to-firm) in July. Back down to her last winning mark now but others look more likely winners of this.
Winner on turf in June but held on all five outings on the AW so far and needs to step up on those efforts if he's to register a second career success today.
Handicap mark is falling following a number of poor efforts this year. Races off a mark 4lb lower than for his latest success and worth a check in the market today.
Held in four starts since winning over this trip at Newcastle in January. Returns from over months off the track off a mark 8lb higher than for that victory.
In good form earlier this year including when winning twice at this track. Rated 3lb higher than when winning at Chepstow (6f, good-to-firm) in June and returns from a break today.
Sole success so far came in a selling contest at Lingfield (good-to-firm) over this trip on final start for Richard Hannon. Well held in two handicaps for this stable.
Broke his maiden when victorious in an amateur riders contest over 6f at Windsor (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Races off a 3lb higher mark today and is one for the shortlist with a useful apprentice in the saddle.
Forecasts
Nutini (7/4), Rapid Ranger (9/2), Round The Island (8/1), Zavikon (10/1), Santafiora (11/1), Sophisticated Heir (16/1), Conqueress (20/1), Indian Affair (22/1), Big Amigo (22/1), First Excel (22/1), Maureb (25/1), Malcolm The Pug (33/1), Castlerea Tess (33/1)
NUTINI has a good draw today and he can follow up his recent Windsor success by taking this opening contest. The selection has appeared to appreciate the switch to sprinting in recent outings and he is taken to get the better of the three-year-old Rapid Ranger who has run well here in the past and was successful last time out. Castlerea Tess disappointed last time but can claim third on her return from a break today.
- Nutini
- Rapid Ranger
- Castlerea Tess
