Decent hurdler who has had just one run on the Flat when down the field at KIllarney. This looks like a prep race for his next hurdling campaign.
Only limited signs of ability in four bumpers and two claimers at Dundalk. Lots to prove at this early stage of his career.
Winner of three hurdles races and ran well in that discipline when second at Listowel last month. Has not shown much in a couple of maidens on the Flat and it may be a similar story this time.
Beaten a long way in three maidens last year. Plenty to prove on his return from a long lay-off in first-time cheekpieces.
Has been knocking on the door in maiden company on the Flat and over hurdles. Decent claims on his second at Gowran Park last month.
Moneyspinner over hurdles and fences, he showed he is not devoid of pace when third of 13 on his only Flat start at Tipperary in April. Interesting that connections have another try with him on the level.
Little sign of ability in five bumpers and a maiden at Dundalk. Ran in a Down Royal maiden hurdle last time and is unlikely to make an impact back on the Flat.
Ridden prominently on both starts this term, showing a fair level of ability. Remains lightly raced and would not need to find much improvement to land this ordinary contest.
Gelded son of Dubawi who is a half-brother to four winners from 6f to 1m. He would not need to be anything special to win this on debut, but his pedigree suggests his stamina is going to be tested.
Has a decent middle-distance pedigree and showed he is not without ability when fifth of 17 at Galway last time. Needs to build on that, but has place claims.
Tale Of Two Cities colt who started at 50-1, but showed ability when fifth of 14 in a Roscommon maiden. Likely to improve on that debut run.
Forecasts
Art Of Security (2/1), Great Trango (2/1), Val De Ferbet (9/2), Calgath (8/1), Charlie Stout (10/1), Ilikehim (12/1), Cambrioleur (14/1), Tale Of Woe (20/1), Ellas Ma (50/1), Backstairs Bounder (66/1), Clandestin (100/1)
The presence of winning jumpers Art Of Security, Charlie Stout and Val De Ferbet adds interest to an ordinary maiden which can go to GREAT TRANGO, who has been threatening to win a race and can finally get his head in front. Calgath and Ilikehim may give him most to do. Cambrioleur is well bred, but may find this trip too far on his debut.
- Great Trango
- Calgath
- Ilikehim
