Winner of two races in May but his latest effort puts him back up to a mark from which he has struggled. Stable going well with a 3-8 record in past 14 days.

C&D winner who was third in this last year. Now 7lb lower and that reflects a drop in form this season. Better ground will help and he is hard to discount.

Mark is plummeting after a dreadful run of results and we have seen him bounce back before. Has a decent strike rate in this grade and four years since he ran off a mark this low.

Lightly raced sort who has faced difficult tasks on his last two starts. Ought to have a race of this calibre in him and definitely one for the shortlist.

Sprang a 16/1 surprise to land a class two event from out of the handicap over C&D last month. Did so from out of the handicap and assessor has taken a lenient view.

Has flattered to deceive on a couple of occasions since a Haydock victory in June off 1lb lower. Stable are an impressive 11-23 here but are 0-20 over the past fortnight.

Just the one success to his name and tackles a new trip which he should get. Mark looks fair and rain would help his cause.

Without a win since 2015 but has run consistently well in defeat. Cheekpieces are back and top rider has been booked. Should be in the thick of things once again.

Winner of a Haydock apprentice event and has held his form well since apart from one race on heavy ground. Should run his race once more under these conditions, but he may need a few of these to falter.

Verdict

SELLINGALLTHETIME is the selection to follow up his success in this two years ago. The booking of David Egan catches the eye for a horse who saves his best for this circuit. Northwest Frontier is feared in this easier contest and given his room for improvement. Peterhouse and Henry Smith both have solid claims, whilst Vernatti comes from a yard who are red hot at the moment.
